At Total Care Transmissions we care about our family's safety and since every customer is family to us, your safety comes first. What can I say? Unbelievable service from Dan (the owner)! He personally stepped in and made a horrible situation bearable. Our daughter wrecked her beautiful BMW (which we purchased from Dan). She took it to the BMW dealership and they wanted $$$$ to fix it. I called Dan and he immediately started working to help me out. He studied the estimate from BMW, researched the parts needed to fix her car (way past office hours), and gave me an estimate of what he thought the repairs would run. And it's not a surprise it was a fraction of the previous estimate! Dan set up the tow, ordered the parts and fixed my daughter's car in less than a week. It was short of miraculous! On top of the incredible service, Dan threw in a personal 'car class' to educate our daughter how to properly take care of a car. Dan, we are so thankful and full of gratitude for everything you have done for us. You went above and beyond to help us out of a terrible bind. I love FTS because I can trust them. That's a big thing for me when going to see a mechanic, especially for the first time. They have the most incredible reviews and I got a glowing referral for their services. They lived up to ALL the hype. I went in for an oil change and I got a no-nonsense assessment of what needed to be done and when. They didn't try to oversell me or get me to fix things that weren't in need of repair. I really appreciate that! They also worked quickly and got me in with little notice and completed my service before the estimated time. I will definitely be back to FTS, in fact, I have my other car scheduled for this week. :)

Great customer service - I originally bought 4 Winnrun tires in Murrieta and "tested" them on my commute to work - 60 miles. Horrible tire for an Audi A4. Manager at store of purchase said they were similar to my Toyo's. Ummm, no...So I went into the Kearny Mesa location and was greeted by Daniel and Joey I told them my issue and was promptly issued a credit for the tires and exchanged them for a set of Toyo. I've taken my Audi TT roadster to Griffin's several times. They have take great care of the care of it. They know the ins and outs of repairing Audis, so I'm not waiting for days while they scout around for parts and figure out how to get the repair done. They're also honest and dependable, and the shop is clean as a whistle. I recommend them highly! Allie Laurie

Been coming to Tony for 5+ years. He treats you like family, and prices are very competitive. Cox is the type of place you can be openly clueless about cars and not get ripped off. They gave me a free loaner car any time I asked.

These are great people. They know what they are doing. The location had changed from one in La Mesa. It is easy to find and get to. I went there for several years straight and never had issues. (With the service or people.) I always had my car (Toyota) drive the best after taking it to Bond's.

I've been going to these guys for years and years, for all my cars. Today I came in to get a slow leak repaired - they did it for free, even though the car I brought in was on its original tires (in other words, I hadn't bought tires for that car at Tire Depot). I also trust these guys to mount tires on rare rims on my vintage vehicle. I think the longest wait I've ever had in all my years going here was about an hour-and-a-half. To top it all off, their prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommended. Greg McKim

You will not find a nicer person than Tony. This guy CARES and is extremely knowledgeable about vehicles. We just bought a 1984 Chevy RV and the guy we bought it from said the carburator didn't work correctly. We took it to him and he checked it out and easily could have charged us to "rebuild" it as we were convinced it was that and it could cost hundred of dollars to fix. He went through the whole engine and found that it was the vacuum hoses and he replaced them all, and the belts on the 1984 were rough. He said you can get away with driving it like that, and NO PRESSURE to make the decision, but we decided we didn't want to break down on the way to the desert! He worked hard and long on our RV and made sure EVERYTHING was looked at and he charged us what we thought was going to be hundred of dollars just $150 after 4 hours of work! We were there the whole time and he never stopped. If you want someone who is going to treat you right, call Tony! You wont be disappointed! He normally works on cars, but offered to help us out in a time of need. If you need a good mechanic that works on your cars the right way and treats you the "right" way, call Tony!

Phillip and Michael are the friendliest mechanics I have ever taken a car to. They are all about making the customer happy. These guys take pride in their work and it shows. Anyone with a BMW knows even an oil change can be pricey but not at B and B. Their price for an oil change is unbeatable for BMW owners. Another shop told me I shouldn't worry about my powered convertible top not working due to the age of my car and prices of convertible components. These guys took the time to check it out and notice it was just a switch on the motor that was turned off. They did not charge for me "fixing" my top but could have. I also had a window regulator replaced at B and B for much less than another local shop did the other regulator for and they did it very quickly while I waited. Do yourself a favor and check them out before you go to a shop that charges $100.00 for an oil change or diagnostic.

Gary and Sharon have done it again! I have been going to their original shop Aero Auto for almost two decades because of their extraordinary service. They recently bought this shop, which is a little closer to my house, so I took my car in here last time. They have done a lot of work to fix it up so it looks nice inside and out. It's so nice to have an auto repair shop that is clean and professional. Sadly, it is still somewhat difficult to find shops that treat women with respect. But that is definitely not the case here! They have created a friendly, comfortable environment for anyone needing their car repaired. And with the free coffee and WiFi, maybe I'll just hang out next time I need my car fixed!

Ryan is an amazing mechanic! Very knowledgable, personable, and honest. I recently moved from LA and have used the same mechanic for 15yrs on my Acura's, so I was hesitant to find a new one in SD. I was so pleased to find Ryan, b/c his approach was very similar to Jay my previous mechanic. He was able to fix my brakes, change the oil, replace the door locking mechanism, and have Hertz pick me up and get me a rental car: all for a reasonable price.

This place rocks. I took my car here for a complete engine rebuild, (already weary that I was using someone new to completely redo my engine) however, Thomas had good reviews from friends of mine. When I went I knew I was in good hands. He even made some minor repairs at no additional cost & now my car runs good as new. She has over 250,000 miles on it, but drives like brand new. Great Service, Great Price. Quality is legitimate, staff is knowledgable, Service has INCLUDED extended warranty, on service and parts performed by JCM. Multiple Lifts in Garage, Fully equipped with toolsets as well as various specialty tools. EXPECTED repair cost by me: $500+ ACTUAL repair cost by JCM $50. Owner Jeff is very knowledgable of mechanics, as well as his staff of mechanics that know a great amount about the work they do. The VERY BEST PRICE. JCM uses quality Japanese parts, and at virtually cost prices. There are some reviews that post negative remarks however, I did not experience those types of behavior during my visits here. I to took my car here and got screwed to .I had a tension pulley installed there in Dec 2012 ,cost me 260 and had a year warranty ,brought it back after taking it to a real mec that told me that the tension pulley was making this rattling noise .I took it back Econo lube and tune and told them that the pulley was bad,and left it there for the weekend. They called me and told me it was not the pulley ,but was my timing chain and would cost me 800.00 to fix it. I'm not having any more work done there and don't think anyone should.Bad customer service and bad mechanics. I also had my credit card numbers used at a store in mexico after visiting there in Dec to have my car fixed. They said they did an internal Investigation an could not pin point the person who used the card numbers. WoW, thats never happend to me before and it just so happened to happen 30 mins after leaving there place.Very unhappy with this place and don't recommend this place to anyone.

this guy wanted 80$ for leak checking some heads i brought in for an engine im building that needed work. i ended up just keeping the heads and using some rebuilt heads that i got an awsome deal on through some friends. 80$ is a JOKE! THATS ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS!! ive found many machine shops that will look over your heads with a straight edge and a vaccum check them for FREE. they do not answer thier phones nor do they treat thier customers with any level of professionalism despite how polite you are in return. I have no intention of ever going back there again and I HIGHLY recommend staying away from these guys, thier way, WAY over priced. and are no where near being on the same level as some of the other machine shops around here i have deffinetely found better.

they pulled codes and attempted some kind of repair-said it look like it had new coils-i had bought used-but the miss felt like a bad coil or spark plug-they couldnt fix and charge me 90.00 to pull codes.if that all i wanted i would have taked to pep boys for fee.they recommentd somewhere else shich fould a bad coil.apparently mission bay auto didnt know what they were doing.i took it here because of the theri good reviews-i am telling you be careful-i goet the impression that they dont know what they are doing
