I do most of my automotive service myself. What I don't do, or can't do, goes to the few places I trust. Harbor Brake Service is a place I trust, and have for years even back in the days of Fred and Wayne Lebsack. Evan -- the current owner -- maintains the tradition of honesty and fairness. He will tell you when something truly needs to be done, and he'll let you know when something can wait. His prices are competitive and excellent for the quality. I've had brakes done, along with occasional suspension work, and it is the absolute only place I will go for an alignment. He will work with you to arrange a convenient appointment, and works fast. Other than being a longtime satisfied customer, I have no connection with Harbor Brake. I consider it one of the best automotive service centers in the entire county. You won't be disappointed.

Glad I took a recommendation to try this place for bodywork cracking on a vehicle after dealing with several not so honest mechanics. Ricardo and company are extremely professional, honest, and timely. Don't waste your time and money on other mechanics. Well worth the distance to get here and the quality of their work is unmatched. Great folks, good prices, and awesome customer service!

Staff was helpful and did not try to haggle me with ridiculous prices or false claims. Once I was going to be late for work with two flat tires. Luckily I was close to this place and they were willing to take me in. Once the repair and rotation of the tires were done, I was charged nothing! That's right nothing, I couldn't believe it. Went here on a referral with a coupon to have AC service. Mechanic did a good job , didn't try to up charge me. Honesty and integrity very much appreciated don't find that with a lot of mechanics these days!

This was the only place that can get my tire on the fly. I have a tire size that's hard to find quickly and The pricing was perfect. The service was great!! And pretty quick. I came in today and will be back in a few weeks for more work. I had a screw that was in a very bad area of my tire preventing it to be repaired. Before they charged me for the tire they took a look to see if it was repairable. Thanks guys!! Darcie Ragans

These guys are awesome Francisco has the best customer service he's staying after closing to solve a problem with my dad's ac. The cost isn't worth staying after but he goes above and beyond. This is my new place to bring my truck and refer my friends and family to, not only is it low priced service they are also honest. Hubert has always been good on communicating with me and telling me when something is not needed. I moved to the south bay over 10 years ago and he's always been my 1st call for any of our auto needs. I highly recommend. They specialize in Amsoil and that all I run on my wife's Honda and my F350. Don't get me wrong they have a vary of supplies.

The service at Rick's was terrific! I was on my way to take my son back to UC Irvine from Agoura when my battery and engine lights came on. It turns out I needed a new alternator and belts. Rick went out of his way to accomodate my schedule. He fixed my car promptly which enabled me to get my son back to UCI to attend class that afternoon. Came here because I had a flat tire. But not only that I needed an oil change so this individual camilo took care of me really fast. Within a 2 week period, 3 of my 4 tires had nails and screws found in them. I had to purchase a new tire for the first situation. The following week I had to make another visit for damage done to 2 other tires. They heard about my belief as to why I am experiencing this. Fixed the problem tires and sent me on my way..... NO CHARGE! They made a bad situation into a situation where I could be grateful for something. Thank you so much to the manager of Hermosa Beach American Tire Depot. It meant a lot!! I will be back!
