Founded in 1990 by the Schwarzbart family, Berkeley Motor Works, specializes in the repair and maintenance of all types of BMWs, MINIs, and Mercedes. Since our humble beginnings as an independent BMW auto repair shop, Berkeley Motor Works has enjoyed a steady growth in business over the years, largely due to our insistence on high-level service and honesty with our customers. In 2002, Berkeley Motor Works moved to its current location in Albany to accomodate the steady growth and increased demand for our auto repair services.

When rating something you don't know a great deal about and whose quality is not immediately apparent, like auto repair, pretty much the entire experience is based on the honesty of the person you deal with, and the price. I've dealt with this place twice, and it was absolutely genuine, as well as affordable. Highly recommend.

I've been going to Autowise for years. The people who work there are friendly and professional. Right now my family owns and maintains 5 cars. Autowise services all of them, and I have never been stuck by the side of the road in any of them because they do such good work. That is very important to me, especially when my children are behind the wheel. As far as price goes...cars are not cheap to maintain! I would recommend that you shop around. You might find a better price, but remember the old saying...You get what you pay for!
