Oil change service near Palo Alto, CA

I discovered Auto Care Specialist after too many years of being a dedicated dealership customer because I wanted to insure my car warranty was maintained. I took my car in to Auto Care Specialist today for basic service, and fully expected to have the oil, oil filter, air filter and lube done. When Chris contacted me to let me know that my car was in great condition and only needed the power steering fluid flushed, I asked "What about the oil and oil filter, and air filter?" Chris said "Not needed at this time!" Call me surprised by that news, as my car's oil and oil filter were always changed, every 6, 000 miles, and then always seemed to need something else done/replaced that increased the service cost well beyond what I anticipated, by the dealership. How refreshing to be not taken advantage of, and to have only the necessary work done on my car! Great and prompt service. It may have taken me too many years to find this quality auto service center, however, I am thrilled to know that my car care needs will be taken care of, without my needing to take a 2nd out on my house! The manager Amit was very helpful. He actually showed me how bad my brakes were while the car was on a lift. I knew they were bad but to actually see it with my own eyes made a difference. He had my pads replaced and saved my brake disc by resurfacing them. In the end.... I was in and out within an hour. I saved over $250 for My brakes are great! I highly recommend them!

Not only superior trusted car service, but staff that goes the extra mile to build a great biz-customer relationship. I continue to bring my cars to Ender because he always gives the best service for the best price. I have older cars which need maintenance to run safely and a newer car- out of warranty. Ender always checks for recalls, recommends future repairs (but will let me know when they have to be done- unlike other shops which replace and charge for repairs which aren't really warranted). He has diagnosed problems that the Nissan dealership couldn't find- and when I brought it back to the dealer with Ender's comments, then miraculously they "found the problem". I trust this shop and have gone there for over 15 years.
