Star Auto Service is amazing. They really do the job right and take care of their customers. From the shuttle service to calling and giving me updates, I really appreciate their attention to detail. They even gave me a loaner car -- a Mustang which is considerably cooler than the minivan I left for repair. I've had a problem with an automatic side door that wouldn't stay open. The dealer spent an entire day and insisted I'd have to replace the whole door. I brought it to Star Auto and they were able to fix it for a fraction of the cost. They sent me a diagnostic of the whole car with pictures identifying the problem. Excellent service and great repair. A+++++ Jodi B.

We moved to southern California in 1992 and a couple coworkers recommended Wards to us. We started taking our cars there, and would never go anywhere else now. They are low key and never try to sell us something we don't need, they're friendly, reasonable, and happy to give us a ride to or from the house even though we don't live close to the shop. They have saved us money numerous times by telling us when something is still under warranty and could be fixed for free at the dealership; they could have done the work, charged us, and we'd have never been the wiser. But that's not the way they do business! Our daughter had car trouble on a trip and her car was towed to the nearest garage. She didn't understand what they were telling her needed to be done so she called Jim to ask his advice. He offered to call and speak with them himself and then explain the problem to her in lay terms and help her decide what to do--no charge for his time even though he got nothing out of it. Over the years, we've taken several different brands and styles of cars to them and they've never failed us. We wouldn't trust our cars to anyone else's care! They are the absolute top of their field.

Very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. They should change their name because they do much more than just tuneups and lube jobs. And, as a bonus, they are quick and friendly. One of the employees even offered to give me a ride there and back when my car had to be kept for a few days.

i came here for a smog and repair because my car wasnt going to pass. very good customer service they speak one on one with you and in spanish ! very affordable prices, better than most places. they get straight to the problem and fix it.

This place is a scam and rip me off.... took my car in for not starting. they piggy back a connector to my fuel pump relay and charged me for something that it was not even replaced!!!! found out from another shop when the car have the same issues and symptoms. DON'T TAKE TO THIS PLACE!!! call them and never call me back. DO NOT TAKE TO THIS PLACE!! THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF THE OWNER IS A CROOK!!!

My sons Mustang was in our garage seems like forever we tried to get it towed to a shop but they wouldnt send a flat bed tow truck even when we request one about 3xs so my husband decided to put the fuel pump in himself while at the Auto Zone my husband met Ali and Ali gave him some advice and his ph# and said that he was mobile.We then decided to have Ali put the pump in. You can tell he KNOWS what he's doing/talking about.Ali had the fuel pump in it didn't take him long at all. And the price was GREAT!! From now on Ali will be our Mechanic and no one else!! THANK YOU ALI!!!

This is one mechanic shop that you would like to visit when you really need your car fixed. They really take care of you, very honest, reasonable and they do things right the first time. I used to go to a mechanic close to my house and discovered that they usually did not completely fix the problem and kept repeating that my car is old and will not last very long. That was three years ago. I started going to Lima Auto and found out that driving a little bit is definitely worthwhile. Chris and Mike are honest and reliable in all they do. If you come in with a problem and they deem it minor, they let you know. They never exaggerate the problem and their cost is reasonable. They are courteous and work with integrity. If and when I have mechanical/car issues, I really stopped worrying because I know and trust Chris and Mike to help me.
