Kay Jay's is the go-to auto repair in the high desert. They offer amazing customer service and they are very fair on their prices. Most importantly they are a mechanic that you can trust.

These people have very different vibe than any other shop and I have been to many in my life. They don’t try to upsell you or use some cheep “time pressure” techniques. They honestly look at your car, give you their opinion and very fair price and let you decide what and when you want to fix. I never felt pressured into anything, unlike all other places. I stumbled accross these mechanics through my doughter’s acquaintance and thought to myself at first” another shop we will be testing for a few months untill we get tired of them selling us repairs we don’t need” but do far I have been here about 5 times for various things, I had a very pleasurable experience with both the owner and the young gentleman that works there. Recommend to every body who is tired of being hustled by a money hungry & commission driven people.

I have limited knowledge of cars, I was fearing the worst. Louis had "best in class" customer service, very honest and straight to the point . it is true, they do "care" at the care shop .mark is the most knowledgeable person I know when it relates to anything about any motor vehicle. I first brought in work truck's for the company I worked for, then my personal pickup, my chevy Tahoe was stolen and striped and his crew put it back together again as it was, mark and his wife rose to run a tight ship and really do care about the work and the customer .they really do back the work without question on the warranty. I have only the very best comments to give, you can trust mark without any concerns because he will have already taken care of any issue before it is a problem. Michael F.

Probably the most honest place in town. I came because Econo Lube told me I needed new brakes which sounded fishy since they were about a year old. Came here and after a few minutes they said I didn't need them. They just needed some tweaking and cleaning. Boom! Worked like new, no more terrible noise, they wouldn't even take my money. First let me say the African american manager I assume never greeted me. We had new tires and two alignments done and less then 6 months later the tire was half bald which obviously indicates the alignment was not done properly. As soon as my husband begin to question and ask about next steps we were immediately told to read our contract and we were basically "dumb" for thinking that should be pointed out. The manager said come back later and I'll do the rotation although you didn't read the contract over and over in an extremely patronizing manner. I have an 08 ml350 in good condition so if the work had been done right we would not need new tires less then 6 months later. More then that this gentleman is basically "yelling" at my husband as if he is not intelligent. My husband is an accountant of high intellect I then informed him not to contract me because we own a business and are aware of how contracts works. At the end of the day we do what is right for the customer not in a manner that demeans or patronized them. He begin to yell louder mock me say " I'm not dealing with you I assume because he did not want to be corrected by a women. This man was extremely unprofessional condescending. Funny thing is when the caucasian women went to get her car he placed her keys in her hands warmly and said have a beautiful holiday. But I did not even get a how are you today. Being in management for 17 years I have never personally experienced reverse racism. Guess there is a first time for everything. Please stay away from this place. If you can't please read your contract and you will be better served if your non black. Good luck and choose wisely.
