Owner Jeff is very knowledgable of mechanics, as well as his staff of mechanics that know a great amount about the work they do. The VERY BEST PRICE. JCM uses quality Japanese parts, and at virtually cost prices. There are some reviews that post negative remarks however, I did not experience those types of behavior during my visits here. Ryan is an amazing mechanic! Very knowledgable, personable, and honest. I recently moved from LA and have used the same mechanic for 15yrs on my Acura's, so I was hesitant to find a new one in SD. I was so pleased to find Ryan, b/c his approach was very similar to Jay my previous mechanic. He was able to fix my brakes, change the oil, replace the door locking mechanism, and have Hertz pick me up and get me a rental car: all for a reasonable price.

Took my 2012 Nissan Maxima here for an oil change and 115,000 mile service in June. I had an appointment but after waiting 3 hours I left with only an oil change. They told me I needed to replace my brake pads ASAP as my front pads only had 4 mm left, replace my front 2 tires ASAP and get an alignment because there was “uneven wear and tear on my front tires meaning there is a serious problem with the alignment”. Well 2 months later I just took my car into a shop down the street to get my front brake pads replaced and they informed me that they are at 8 mm and need no service at this time. they also said that my tires need to be replaced but there is NOT any uneven wear or tear. This is fraudulent business practice.
