one of the worst feelings as a car owner is when that red "check engine" light appears...ugh. i brought my truck in today knowing that robert & his crew would be honest with me and let me know if any repairs were truly needed. i feared it was my alternator, a very costly repair... turns out it wasnt, and was related to the ignition box which has been replaced earlier that morning. no repairs were needed! big sigh of relief! i continue to give this business my loyalty because i trust them. bonus is that you get a complimentary car wash with your service. win! win! thank you again silver star !!!

i really couldn't ask better, the service was great the mechanics were so friendly and showed me the exact problem. I then got invited into the waiting room where they put a movie of my choice and got the service i ever wished for, the price was excellent and very cheap i am definitely going to return to Del Rey Brakes & Alignment soon.

We used to have a family friend fix all of our vehicles but when he moved out of state his brother didn't do much for us. So we started to see Paul at American Tire Depot on Magnolia and he and his team really took great care of our vehicles. Javier Had helped me with my Chrysler since 2009. Starting with a simple brake and rotor change and oil change the trust grew from me being the client and Javier to gain my trust for future maintenance of my 2002 300m "SPECIAL"! This vehicle is in my collection of cars that I am very particular in the pampering and maintaining it's original parts and service intervals according to my manual.Javier has always been there to take care of my needs! He also has tuned up my Mercedes CL55. I travel from Orange county California Every month to have oil changes and to keep up on the maintenance that he recommended! From 2009 to present 2014 Javier has done a timing belt change in 2010. A brake replacement on all four wheels in 2011. 2012 had another timing belt and water pup changed due to normal millage specs."NOTE" I drive from Tustin California to Glendale California five days a week, Which is 110miles a day!! I have never been stuck on the road calling AAA to tow me back to Javier to fix any problem! I just had my lower control arms and ball joints replaced on my 300m "SPECIAL June.2014 and is working fantastic!! In closing, Javier has taking care of me in my time of need to "maintain" and "prevent" "ANY" car related problems! We moved to southern California in 1992 and a couple coworkers recommended Wards to us. We started taking our cars there, and would never go anywhere else now. They are low key and never try to sell us something we don't need, they're friendly, reasonable, and happy to give us a ride to or from the house even though we don't live close to the shop. They have saved us money numerous times by telling us when something is still under warranty and could be fixed for free at the dealership; they could have done the work, charged us, and we'd have never been the wiser. But that's not the way they do business! Our daughter had car trouble on a trip and her car was towed to the nearest garage. She didn't understand what they were telling her needed to be done so she called Jim to ask his advice. He offered to call and speak with them himself and then explain the problem to her in lay terms and help her decide what to do--no charge for his time even though he got nothing out of it. Over the years, we've taken several different brands and styles of cars to them and they've never failed us. We wouldn't trust our cars to anyone else's care! They are the absolute top of their field.

OET had my problem diagnosed within two hours and had my car back to me within the same day. I was shocked when I was told that the problem was minor. My repair cost substantially less than I expected. I knew then, that I had finally found an honest mechanic.

What I love about this place is that they are courteous and helpful. I called and spoke w/ Bill the manager told him my issue, brought my car in and because it was just a minor issue I was in and out in about 30 mins or less!!! I will definitely take my car back there!
