Transmission repair service near Brighton, CO

After 5 times they failed to fix my car or even properly diagnose it. Told me to drive it until catastrophic damage happens. Overfilled my engine, broke my wiper arm motor, killed my battery several times, I have scratches from damage done by them in multiple spots. Refused refund for diag they didn’t do. Avoid this shop at all costs.

I brought my 09 Cadillac to Colorado transmission and diesel specialists on a friends recomendation. I initialy was weary as they had a less than excellent review. I called and talked with the owner and he told me that the gentleman in question had work done several years prior and had leaks on an old cadillac that was well out of warranty. Bottom line was he wanted free work . I pay my bills so i decided to have the engine resealed and transmission rebuilt. I have a two year warranty on the smoothest shifting transmission ive ever had!!! No leaks on my engine either. The best part is knowing they will stand by thier work no matter what. This was the best experience ive ever had at any shop. If after my warranty expires, i have leaks develop, ill be glad to return and have these fine gentlemen reseal what ever seal failed. O... and i wont want it done for free .THANK YOU CTDS.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO DAVE (Precision Transmission) Brighton, CO. He rebuilt my Taurus 8 times and never got it right (not even ball park). Then wanted to charge me 500.00 more. My ex took his car to him and he's on "re-doing" number six and he got stuck with a 300.00 tow bill. WHAT A TOOL! I'm doing the paperwork for the BBB and calling Tom Martino for him. Please pass on so this doesn't happen to anyone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These guys went the extra mile for me. Originally when the transmission lost two gears, they were going to rebuild. When the rebuild didn't work, they dropped another transmission into my Jeep, absorbing the loss themselves. Yes, I would recommend these guys.

Our favorite mechanic works here! He has maintained our 2000 Ford F350 for 16 years now. We wouldn't dream of letting anyone else touch it! Great place to take your vehicle!!! Oh, and the sell tires too! Debra Van Sickle

Well worth the wait... Very busy shop! We had our transmission fail this last weekend. ATEC was not able to get to us for a few days during the snow storm that hit Denver last week. After many attempts we finally got through to them as we found out they had been without power for two day's. We had a friend give us the phone number and we almost gave up waiting to get them to call us back. At first we got upset leaving messages and no return call. We are so glad to get to use this shop and getting to see why so many people are using them. We will be back and thanks to the girl at the front they call her Jes. She kept us up to date with great communications. I recommend this shop and say this with gratitude to them as i could have spent a lot more then they charged to get my vehicle back on the road.

My wife's 1999 Ford Escort had a problem with its timing belt. We took it to a certain blue and gold auto repair shop on the same street and was told our water pump was to blame. Guess what? The Ford Escorts are designed so that the water pump has no contact whatsoever with the timing belt. We were lied to by that shop. We took our car to Jim Paris instead and got great service. They immediately identified the defective timing belt and honored the warranty on it even though we didn't buy it there. They also repaired some associated issues at no additional charge. I highly recommend Jim Paris and I will go there first next time I need car work done.

Very good work, and excellent warranty on work performed, Personnel well informed, and experienced, always cordial, and ready to listen to customers concerns. Been a customer for some time and highly recommend them. You may get better price somewhere else but you may not get quality work, as you will here.
