Customer service was a bit of mix and not consistent. The repairs that were done by Accurate on my vehicle were not accurate and I'm still running into the same issue. The first suggested repairs did not work, so I came back for the 2nd time. They suggested something else, for that replaced and still didn't address the initial issue - so I paid for 2 separate charges and didn't help fix my car. I don't have confidence that they will be able to accurately diagnose and repair if I were to bring into my car again, and then having to pay for another separate charge on something that doesn't have to be replaced.

Kenny and team did an excellent job fixing a severe oil leak on my 2003 Honda Accord. I took the car over to Fine Tuned with an idea of what the problem was and the cost associated with fixing it. Go Honda had actually already looked at the vehicle prior to me seeing the guys at Fine Tuned. Kenny put the car up on the lift and showed me everything that was wrong. Honda did not do this. Kenny also pointed out other things that needed to be addressed and explained why. In the end, Kenny was able to do a lot more work than what Honda was going to do and at a cheaper price! The work was completed in a timely manner and Kenny kept me well informed on his progress I just recently took my 2008 Acadia in for Kenny to look at and received the same exceptional service! I highly recommend Fine Tuned Auto!

I have used this shop without any issues for a couple years. I get peppered with text messages to bring my car in. When I finally needed an oil change, I made an appointment online. Brought my car to the shop on Quebec and my car and wasn’t on the calendar. The guy at the front desk offered to squeeze my car in, but it would take all day, which is what I was trying to avoid. He actually seemed frustrated with the system and said I needed to call next time. I double-checked the confirmation and I had the correct date, time, and location. So, owners, why are you the last operation during the pandemic that hasn’t figured out online appointments? Really frustrating.

I recently dropped off my 2019 Dodge Charger at Thompson Automotive because the steering began feeling stiff and rigid rather than smooth and effortless. Having some automotive knowledge, I figured this was due to the vehicle's power steering system. I didn't know exactly what type of power steering my vehicle had, as there are a few different options, but I knew that my experience driving the car had worsened. After dropping my vehicle off at Thompson Automotive and having it reviewed by one of their mechanics, I was notified that my vehicle didn't have power steering whatsoever, and thus, there was nothing to be fixed. Even the mechanic who inspected my vehicle reassured me as such, saying there would be nothing to do except add power steering to my vehicle. I insisted the steering was smooth until recently, but the mechanic shrugged off my concerns. Unconvinced, I called a friend who is a mechanic and runs servicing for a Dodge dealership. He reassured me that my vehicle does have power steering and informed me of different reasons why my power steering would be failing. With this in mind, I took my vehicle to a local Dodge dealership for another inspection. They notified me that my power steering rack was leaking fluid and that I would need a new rack and pinion. This was expensive but necessary, and upon receiving my vehicle with a replaced rack and pinion, my steering was back to normal. I'm disappointed in the lack of care and service from Thompson Automotive. I drive my car all the time, and my experience should guide the inspection process when diagnosing an issue. When I say that the steering used to be smooth and is now stiff, the mechanic should seek to understand why such a thing is occurring. How would it be that my car doesn't have power steering if I tell you it used to steer smoothly? Instead, my concerns were shrugged off. As a result, I cannot recommend Thompson Automotive to anyone seeking automotive repairs because of their lack of consideration and thoroughness when looking over my vehicle. At least they didn't charge for the time they spent misdiagnosing my vehicle.

Most of us don't have a full range mechanic on call. You really should write down this contact. Your car is going to have a problem, perhaps major, and you will will find yourself floundering and knowing what to do. I have found the answer. Urban Autocare in Littleton is the best. You will be treated with fairness and courtesy. They understand this this problem is a big deal for the customer and take it seriously. From the start, communication is timely and easy to understand. The repairs are perfect and they go beyond to take care of you. (I had a loose piece on the front bumper that they saw and fixed up for me.) Easy to talk with and always available to provide info. You'll feel good and will keep and share this lucky find. Michael Thompson

AAMCO Transmission

1.0(1)
10168 W Chatfield Avenue, Littleton

If you would have asked me three months ago, I would have had a much more positive review of this location. However..... Over two years ago (07/12), I took my '65 Mustang in to this AAMCO because of transmission shifting problems. Diagnosis revealed a broken band. Considering the age of the car, I decided to have the entire transmission rebuilt, including a new shift kit. I was told the repair would take a little longer than usual because their "C4 expert" was out of town. When I finally received the car back, the shifting problem was solved, but the transmission started leaking, mostly after the car sat still for long periods. I have since taken the car back to this location four more times since the initial repair to address the leaking. Until this last trip in, they had never charged me for the follow-up repairs. Since I only put about 500 miles per year on this car, I usually tell them to take their time on the repair and get it right. This is a mistake, because every time, it takes several weeks for completion. I realize that with warranty work they want to work it in when it's convenient, but for a supposedly easy leak, weeks is a bit extreme. This last time in to fix the same leak issue, they just happened to find other things wrong that needed to be addressed; which didn't really make any sense, since I initially paid for a complete rebuild. Nothing else was wrong with the drivetrain when I originally took the car in, and I've put less than 700 miles on since. To wrap this up, the car has been sitting in the garage, undriven since the day I brought it home from AAMCO a few months ago. Yesterday (11/06/14), I was going to winterize the car and cover it for the winter, and noticed a nice large (3 ft diameter) puddle of transmission fluid under the car. So, two years and five trips to the shop later, the car still leaks (a lot), and I'm no closer to being able to confidently drive this car than I was two years ago. These are nice guys, but I seriously question their abilities.
