When you own an older model Porsche that no longer has any warranty coverage, it is very important to find a good shop. Since 2011 Poudre Sports Car has provided me with that necessary shop, where I can take either of my 1989 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolets and receive quality service. Porsche autos are well engineered and will provide excellent reliability if routine and preventative maintenance is performed. I try to do a lot of my routine maintenance, but sometimes my garage is not set up to do some of the more extensive maintenance procedures. This is where Poudre Sports has filled that void and helps me keep both my cars in good running condition. They are attentive to the cars immediate needs as well as providing information on components that may require maintenance in the near future. With both cars over 25 years old, it gives me peace of mind that Poudre Sports partners with me to keep them in good shape. King's was an extremely lucky find for me! About 2 months ago, I desperately needed some help in disengaging my truck's 4WD after leaving Boulder on a cross-country drive, and was quickly running out of options. The other mechanics in Ft Collins said they were too busy even to take a look...but these guys did, and stayed on it until they could identify the problem, and most importantly, get my truck back in 2WD so I could hit the road. My worries that I'd pay an arm and a leg were unfounded, because King's wouldn't do that. I'll still take my 4runner there even if it's an hour away...outstanding service, and diligent as can be in working to solve your problem and get you on your way.

My husband and I were on a road trip in our Forester when it started making an awful noise. Not being familiar with the Ft. Collins area we used Yelp to find Nice Car. I bought my car from J & M. When looking for a used car, I asked numerous friends and family members to recommend someone I could trust. J & M Precision Motors was highly recommended. Not only did I receive a beautiful car at a good price, but the service is great, too!! I am totally ignorant when it comes to car mechanics. Because of that, I am nervous about any little thing that is not perfect in my car. Mike and Perry have both taken the time to explain to me in detail any questions I might have. They have a way of problem solving with me, re-assuring me when I need it and giving me honest opinions about the choices that I have, so that I can make an informed decision. Whenever I bring my car in for service, they are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They are amazing! Because of the quality of their service, I will always take my cars to them! Extremely disappointed in their service and attitude. We brought a vehicle there to look at a problem. That was the first issue, we should have merely gone to auto zone, where we would have got the original diagnosis that they gave us for free and not have paid $135+ for them to tell us you may or may not have an alternator problem, and you may want to replace the batteries. Again, I could have shown up to an auto zone, and they would have told me that for free. Next is that advice was "The beginning, and more than likely several more tests will need to be done, and those fixes which they quoted at over $1K may not fix the problem that we brought the vehicle in for. This tells me that this shop likes to "Throw Parts" at a problem and hope that it fixes the issue and does not truly take the time to figure out the root. Stay away from this company, I find these practices and mentality very unethical when it comes to car shops. Fortunately the shop we did end up taking the vehicle to has a better process in place and does not want to nickel and dime their customers.
