I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. Absolute crook. Tried to solve my problem by selling me another car and keeping mine, rather than finding a cost effective way to fix mine. STAY AWAY - CHARGES MONEY EVEN TO JUST LOOK AT A CAR. After trying to cheat me, I called to say I was coming to pick up the car. Said I could just come get, then held my car hostage for money until I paid a "Diagnostic Fee". TOTAL SCAM - STAY AWAY!

Never again will I go to PEPBOYS . Made an appointment for 10am. Just needed new tires, oil change, and wipers. Stayed there more than four hours. 3 hours in and they hadn’t even put my car on the alignment rack. I was late for work.
