Theo's car care is a rip-off!!! I took my car there because my friend said the owner was somewhat honest to him while inspecting his car, and because it's a small local shop so I expected lower charges. However, when I need to have a part replaced on my nissan, the owner asked for the same price as a Nissan dealer is asking, and, much higher than Goodyear!! He charged me $100 for inspecting, it took them FOREVER even after I told them my suspicion because it's a common Nissan problem that surprisingly hasn't been recalled on. The inspection cost $60 for my friend who has the same car and exact same issue at Goodyear. When it comes to labor, Theo's mechanic finished taking the part out and putting the new one in in about 1 hour, BUT, he charged me for 2 hrs!! When I told him my friend had it fixed for less, he said he doesn't believe me so I called Goodyear and had him talked to Goodyear, only then did he lowered the price a bit. When I got the bill at the end, it's almost the same as Goodyear's charge but I had a terrible experience. Terrible customer service and the owner is sleazy, rude, and ignorant, I would give him a -5 stars if I could.

I am fairly new to New York. You hear often the stereotypes of a dog-eat-dog world. So looking for a mechanic, and honesty, is not an easy task. However, I was in a jam and needed to find one. I came across the reviews for Hughes Motor Corp, and I was immediately impressed to make a call. Vinny answered (he's part of a duo with Kevin). He was very friendly and assuring when I told him about the problems with my Durango. I had AAA tow the car to their workshop in Yonkers. These guys are professional, efficient, and you get your car back within the time frame that is estimated. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop, they are a great team. They will take care of your problems and put you at ease. Cars are expensive toys, what you hope to get is a decent repair job at a fair price. These guys provide both, you'll be in good hands. My family has been going to Rick for about twenty years. He's the best. Rick is a great mechanic who only does the work you need at a fair price. Plus, he gets the work done in a timely manner.

This is actually for Al Berger in Sales. We purchased a Mazda 5 from him and this guy should be a stand up comic. I have never had so much fun and clicked with a Car Salesman before. Before we knew it we were off in our new Mazda. Even if you dont buy there, just go for Al's humor alone.

i purchased a replacement windshield for my 69 Mustang and requested removal of the black glass in order that I have a new headliner replaced. I paid approximately $325 for the order. The following day, Payless reported to the interior shop (2 blocks away as agreed) and removed the back glass and windshield. Approximately 3 days later, the headliner was replaced and I requested that they reinstall the back window and install the new windshield. I received conflicting dates as to when the job would be done, all the while the car was kept at the interior shop and utilizing a bay. On 8/4, I went back to the Payless and spoke to the manager who said that he was backed up and couldn't complete job until Thursday or Friday. On Saturday, the job still wasn't done and I had to have the car towed away from the interior shop at my expense. I insisted that Payless return my monies in full however they demanded to be paid for removing the back glass. I asked for the return of my original windshield however was told that it was thrown away. I would not recommend this business to anyone and plan legal action against them. I planned to have the car complete to deliver to my dad during a vacation later that month, they completely ruined the plan. Terrible business and attitude from the management.

Bob Thomas Ford recommended an unnecessary wheel alignment for my car. When asked whether the recommended alignment was necessary, Gary Shelomis, service manager, confirmed that it was necessary and that it needed to be fixed before I could drive my car. Because of the $130 price of the alignment, I asked for second opinions from Firestone and Town Fair Tire. Both reviewed a printout of Bob Thomas Ford’s alignment measurements and advised that an alignment would not be “necessary” and that $130 would be excessive for an alignment even if it were necessary.
