Do yourself a favor and stay away from them. Brought my vehicle to them for a transmission change back in January 2023. Car kept giving problems after transmission change brought back to them last month , June 2023 and today is July 27th and my car is still at their shop. No COMMUNICATION whatsoever. I’ve had to constantly reach out to one of the owners “Ocatvio” and that gets me nowhere. Extremely unprofessional doing business. With having to constantly follow-up (I’d give enough time in between communication because I do understand it can take some time) and time passes and zero communication from Affordable Transmission. I started coming this week Monday 7/24/23 to be exact, Octavio was actually in the office. He stated it would be ready before Friday 7/28/23. Today is Thursday 7/27/23 and the New Transmission is not even here yet. The WORST experience EVER. Again, I only know this because I’ve had to start coming to the shop to find out the status of my car.

Went by they told me I needed an appointment. Made in and a month later they told me to bring the truck back they won’t be able to get to it until I fix something else. Did everything they told me and the problem still there. They are not dependable they take advantage of customers. I am a poor veteran with an old truck and no money to buy a new one I borrowed money and rebuild the transmission. They took my money and said if I can’t find receipt they can’t fix I found the receipt and now they are trying to say it passed the miles even though the vehicle was brought in multiple times before the miles. It still has not been a year. They find every excuse to purposely have you wait and now I am having problems
I was due for my 60K check-in for my 2102 KIA Rio (Rubee) and I was no... read more I was due for my 60K check-in for my 2102 KIA Rio (Rubee) and I was not prepared to pay what my dealership offered. So I took my little, Rubee, to Callahan Auto today. I met him in person and liked him immediately. He’s really sweet. He took the time to listen to my concerns, take a test drive with me and he did not treat me like a girl who knows nada about cars (which I am). He did the work and the bill was really reasonable. I was so happy and Rubee has a lot of pep in her step again. Can’t wait to hit the highway! I am totally going to recommend Callahan Auto to anyone who needs any auto repairs. They are great!
