Callahan Auto Repairs is located in Hollywood, FL and our motto is “Repair it Right The First Time”, no exceptions, no excuses. Tom Callahan, owner and chief mechanic has been working on cars since 1974 and A.S.E. Master Certified since 1992. We specialize in domestic & import vehicles from the mid 1930s to today’s most technically advanced. We are a Full Service auto repair facility offering engine repair and rebuilding, transmission overhauls, brakes, A/C, rear end, tune-ups, oil changes, performance upgrades, differential, lift and lowering kits and scheduled maintenance. 60K check up
I was due for my 60K check-in for my 2102 KIA Rio (Rubee) and I was not prepared to pay what my dealership offered. So I took my little, Rubee, to Callahan Auto today. I met him in person and liked him immediately. He’s really sweet. He took the time to listen to my concerns, take a test drive with me and he did not treat me like a girl who knows nada about cars (which I am). He did the work and the bill was really reasonable. I was so happy and Rubee has a lot of pep in her step again. Can’t wait to hit the highway! I am totally going to recommend Callahan Auto to anyone who needs any auto repairs. They are great!

Tune Up, Wiper Motor, Full Inspection of Car
My mother and I went to Callahan Auto and we couldn't me more pleased. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a loyal, honest, trustworthy mechanic who does his work and does not take advantage of one being a female with having no knowledge of the specifications of a car or the car lingo. My mother and I are truly pleased!

Valve job & head gasket replacement
I've been to many mechanics in so fla. All have disappointed with shoddy service or insane prices (from Hialeah to Davie). Went for an estimate to two other shops before taking a chance with Tom. He gave me a very reasonable estimate, uncovered some other problems, and repaired everything at a final price LESS than his estimate, if you can believe that. This guy is the real deal - honest, fair and skilled. Very glad I gave him a chance and am happy to say that i now have a new go to mechanic for my 3 vehicles. Oh, and the car he repaired runs like it hasn't in 5 years. Awesome,
