I was in a car accident (an individual slammed into the drivers side o... read more I was in a car accident (an individual slammed into the drivers side of my car) and so his insurance company (progressive) sent me to Impex. I should have know from my initial experience with this place that it was not going to be a good one but I went ahead anyway because of the reviews, I wanted my car fixed ASAP, and because my adjuster stated this is where he get his car fixed. When I went to pick up my car it looked externally fixed (ok ), however when I drove it just a few feet my tire pressure light went on. I immediately turned around and went back to Impex and they put air in my tires. I thought it was the end of it. For the past month I have had to go 2x per week to put air in my tires. The back rear tire on the drivers side where my car was hit. I called them several times and Julio keep making excesses and not wanting to fix what they did to my car. He keep saying that I must have done it when i drove it the few feet I did -- What?!! I did it really. Full of excuses and little to no solutions-not only that I am unable to make a U turns without my steering wheel locking and my car making this awful squeal. This is the most DISHONEST and UNDER HANDED place I've ever been to. I don't know if the other reviews are paid because my experience was not a 5 star experience, it wasn't even a half star. I WILL NEVER EVER REFER ANYONE HERE
My daughter's truck broke down while at USF and Robert from RJL repair... read more My daughter's truck broke down while at USF and Robert from RJL repaired it quickly for very reasonable cost. I live a few hours from Tampa, so I called him after finding his shop on this website. He even offered to tow her truck if it couldn't make it to the shop. He was honest and only repaired what was broke and did not try to con her into anything more. Thanks Robert, I'll refer all the USF parents I know to your shop from now on.
I would highly recommend staying away from this shop, considering the ... read more I would highly recommend staying away from this shop, considering the work performed on my own car I would have been better off going to a vocational school and having newly trained people repairing my car. When work performed was questioned I was informed that the shop was a production body shop and after inquiring further it would seem that the term is simpler described as a butcher shop where the only thing that is considered when hiring an employee is that the work is done quickly with no regard for quality.
