Transmission repair service near Kenneth City, FL

I called to have a tire patched and they told me it was FREE as a good customer service thing to do. It would get them more future business they said. I took the vehicle in and instantly told it was not repairable. This is a $250 tire. I knew it was an easy fix but they just want to sell tires. I took it to just tires on Clearwater Largo Rd and they fixed it for $20 and it will last the lifetime of the tire. It only took them 12 minutes to fix. This is my second bad experience with Goodyear. I will never use or suggest anyone goes there, especially the franchise one on Belcher and East Bay Drive.

Myself and my family have lived in Dunedin for years, we know who the players are in this town for transmissions and brakes and all have been satisfied with the level of service from Shiftrite transmission for many years. They have the cleanest shop in town and their people are really honest and competent, I know them personally. I recommend these guys to all my family and friends because they are straight shooters. Any one who says these guys aren't the best and most trustworthy in the tampa bay area at transmissions and brakes - either have never dealt with Shiftrite or are their competition just trying to smudge them for their benefit.

Been here a few times now. Simply put mechanics who know their craft and whom you can TRUST. If it ain't broke they won't fix it. Icing on the cake...they're good people.

My BMW M3 transmission needed to be replaced and these guys were exceptionally honest in setting expectations, time frames, and expectations. The price was right (and told up front) and there wasn't a single point of contention through the already stressful situation of needing a replacement of this caliber. It is very scary taking your car to a shop do this kind of work and I'm more than pleased to say that they exceeded my expectations across the board. I would and will recommend them to anyone needing transmission service.

The owner of CTC Transmission Chris was GREAT! He explained everything in "normal non-mechanical person" terms.His prices are a lot better then any other places I had called, and service was quick, and right on. My car rides better then ever now! I'd recommend CTC to anyone, you WON'T be disappointed.

I searched everywhere to find someone I could trust. Tons of questions and costs for things to be repaired or replaced. All this was because of a prior visits to another place who just looked at it and told me it needed a new transmission. When I finally contacted Engines and Transmission I felt by just talking to them I was at the place I needed to be. They took the time to answer questions, they picked up my vehicle, they called me at different steps to inform me of what they found. I went from thinking that I was going to have to replace/rebuild my transmission to items that were done in a much faster time and what was really needed. Living on a budget and worried about the cost...........I can not thank them enough for being so helpful, kind and considerate. My daughter's truck broke down while at USF and Robert from RJL repaired it quickly for very reasonable cost. I live a few hours from Tampa, so I called him after finding his shop on this website. He even offered to tow her truck if it couldn't make it to the shop. He was honest and only repaired what was broke and did not try to con her into anything more. Thanks Robert, I'll refer all the USF parents I know to your shop from now on.

9/9/17. My daughter trying to decide to leave Tampa got some bad gas and is broke down. I called from Pensacola Fl. and Pernell answered and said he would go see what he can do. I pray for him and my daughter. Time is running out. I wait to hear from him. I pray he can get her car running.

Only place I will take my BMW for repair. Ladies, this is the one place where being a female doesn't feel like they will take advantage of you. Fair, honest, fast, efficient team and also do a great job detailing your car. Always excellent customer service! -Suzanne
