My experience with the transmission shop was great. They are honest mechanics who stand by their work. The owner Joey, must really have Christ residing in his heart. They are extremely kind and professional.

These are the only folks I've trusted my Volkswagen within the last three years or so - my roommate has brought her Honda there for six years. They are honest, reliable, and the only people I feel comfortable trusting my car with. They explain everything very clearly, have great customer service, and are incredibly knowledgable about Volkswagens. I'm writing this after a major engine repair and I'm still thrilled about them. Honesty! I have found Clay County Transmissions to be reliable and honest. I have had repairs done when needed and the techs have told me when I didn't need repairs. The repairs have always been done well and the follow up is included. I have not found a more honest or reputable establishment. I will return to Clay Count Transmission when I need work again.

I primarily went here for an oil leak repair and oil change. I wanted them to look at and assess "if they could fix" the malfunctioning car passenger side door that wouldn't open from the outside, only opened from the inside until this Midas's shop mechanics ripped off the entire door panel, rendering it completely nonfunctional before even giving me a quote. I clearly stated to the store manager Daniel Stapler, "diagnose it, give me a quote, we'll go from there". Well without warning or a phone call prior, they wrecked the door panel while taking it off for diagnosis and tried to quote me $700 which included the door panel replacement that his shop mechanics broke, door actuator and labor. It felt like they were holding me hostage to fix it, trying every tactic to get a "yes" out of me when I only needed a oil leak repair and oil change. Pathetic and the most frustrating thing is when I picked up the car, they didn't have the decency to put the door back even close to the condition it was in when I left it there, definitely not it's original state, they just put the detached door panel in the backseat like garbage. I know for damn sure it opened from the inside but Daniel suspiciously tried to say that it never did. That's the moment when I realized that some schemes, premeditated sales pressure was clearly going on. The oil leak repair and oil change should have been free of charge since the shop's mechanics totally wrecked the door while taking it off to diagnose it(go figure), to the point of not opening from either side now, to go along with the panel they failed to reattach. Mind boggling car shop. And I looked up actuator replacement and it's just $280-$330. Daniel Stapler tried smooth talking me into paying for what his mechanics broke as well. What's the price of not being able to open the car door at all as the customer? Customer's always right or what

Tom is really good at what he does. And most of all he's fair. I called 10 shops looking to put a performance muffler on my eclipse, everyone wanted me to buy there parts for no less then 200$ whech was flow master etc parts. I wanted a tuner sounding exhaust, well Tom was kind enough to tell me that I can bring my muffler and he will put it on for me. Well sure enough I saved 100s of dollars. And most of all I got what I wanted. And he did a great job. Thanks Tom. I will further use budget muffler as my #1 muffler shop.

I was new to the Jacksonville area and needed to have some work done on my car. I called over to Tubels and they fit me in that day. They diagnosed what was wrong with car and even fixed it that day. I guess that is why they must be one of the top auto repair shops in Jacksonville FL.

Chris came to my rescue today. I just had my oil changed at the oil change place down the street and the next time I started my car there were multiple warning lights on. He hooked it up to monitor, opened the hood and said "here's your problem" as he reconnected a hose. I was on my way in 5 minutes and he didn't charge me. We have used Westside Automotive for many years for our vehicle repairs and always been satisfied. I guess I should have used them for the oil change too so it would have been done right. See you in about 5,000 miles Chris!

Extremely Happy with the work done here as well as the awesome customer service. Tim was Great!!!!!!! I highly recommend this place for any work needed. It may have only taken 15min to fix my problem but to me it was a very huge deal as i have been struggling with this issue for months...

TODAY ON JAN 11 2021 I WENT TO RONS FOR A CATALYCTIC CONVERTER RELACEMENT AND HE WAS DONE IN LIKE 90 MINUTES. I READ REVIEWS OF HOW GREAT A GUY HE WAS AND HIS MORE THAN FAIR PRICES AND IT WAS ALL TRUE. AFTER GETTING QUOTES OF 300 320 AND ALIKE I CALLED RON AND HE DID ME MORE FAIR THAN ALL OF THEM BY QUITE A BIT.PLUS HE DISCOVERED ANOTHER ISSUE WITH MY IGNITION COIL PACK AND HAD THE CODE READ FOR WHICH CYLINDER AND EVEN TIPPED ME ON HOW TO CHECK TO MAKE SURE I HAD THE RIGHT CYLINDER.AFTER ALL THAT HE POINTED ME IN THE DIRECTION OF WHERE TO GET THE IGNITION COIL PUT IN AND THAT GUY DID IT IN LIKE 5 MINUTES LITERALLY. NOW MY CAR DOES NOT SKIP,HESITATE OR ROUGH IDLE ANYMORE. I CAN ACTUALLY FEEL THE INCREASE IN POWER AND BETTER GAS MILEAGE. RON IS YOUR EXHAUST GUY,LOOK NO FURTHER. THANKS RON. I had my Dakota trans overhauled at this shop and have nothing but shifting problems despite bringing it back 3 times it's still was not right! Got tired of dealing with the rude manager and took it to another shop to make it right. Never again.

Stranded on the side of road when all transmission fluid leaked out of non tightened drain plug. Midas said to try and drive car to midas with no transmission fluid on dip stick. Towed to midas. Lady got nail in tire. Took to midas under road hazard. Tire is fine, could not find a thing. Tire still leaking air took back. Tire is fine they said again, still leaking air. Took back third time, said they found it. Still leaking air. Took back 4th time, they finally fixed it. I have security lug nuts on wheels. Special socket was taped to end of lug wrench with electrical tape before we got tires from midas. Lady stranded again when she hit debris in the road. Opened trunk to find lug wrench missing special socket and tape from end. Had to go to advanced auto to buy a socket. Of course you have to buy the complete lug set for $40. Thanks midas. Took tire into midas for replacement under warranty. Compained to manager about missing socket. manager said they never use customer sockets, they have their own, i asked him why did they call me then and ask me where i kept my socket for my wheels. I asked the manager to give me one of his sockets so I could return the set to advanced auto. He had 3 in his hand. He gives me the oldest one and keeps the new looking ones, probably one of which was mine. Stay far away from this place.
