We are family owned and operated for 15 years in Pompano Beach / Fort Lauderdale / Broward County, FL and 30+ years in NJ. We specialize in high performance and classic car transmissions as well as your daily driver. We stock a plentiful number of Chevy 700R4 (and Chevy 700R4 / 4L60 / 4L60E / 4L65E 's) as well as Ford AODE and 4R70W transmissions. Ron has been building and repairing transmissions since he was 15 and it has become a way of life for him. He basically eats and sleeps transmissions. We specialize in classic and high performance cars but also do the daily driver, pick ups and work trucks, work vans etc. . We have made "Honesty is the best policy" our motto because in this business alot of the well known transmission shops will charge you an arm and a leg for the job when it reality it may be half the price. They may charge you for parts that they are not even installing in your vehicle. They have to consider major overhead and believe me after the strories I have heard 50% of past customers have come to us after getting a price and find ourt we can do the job for half the price and offer a longer guarantee. We strive to besure to make and keep our customers happy, afterall word of mouth is the best advertising! We also offer rides home when you leave your car. (Within reason - Broward County)

I was due for my 60K check-in for my 2102 KIA Rio (Rubee) and I was not prepared to pay what my dealership offered. So I took my little, Rubee, to Callahan Auto today. I met him in person and liked him immediately. He’s really sweet. He took the time to listen to my concerns, take a test drive with me and he did not treat me like a girl who knows nada about cars (which I am). He did the work and the bill was really reasonable. I was so happy and Rubee has a lot of pep in her step again. Can’t wait to hit the highway! I am totally going to recommend Callahan Auto to anyone who needs any auto repairs. They are great!

Purchased a part from this company on eBay on January 24, 2011. The item was a "94-96 Jaguar XJ6 Power Steering Rack & Pinion" for my 1995 Jaguar XJ6. After waiting months for the part to arrive my mechanic tells me it's the wrong part for my year!!! A man named Anthony Troccilli told me I can return the item and they would refund me 100% via Paypal. I sent the rack & pinion back to them in Florida, the package was successfully delivered. Anthony continued to correspond on email saying he would credit me shortly, and he was sending my information to accounting. He then stopped replying altogether. Over a month went by and I hadn't heard from him. I was expecting a refund of $440.00 USD, a refund that never came. He finally replied and said he was away on vacation and he would follow up in the morning. I never heard from him again. I tried calling the company countless times and the connection would be bad or they would pretend to not speak english. Then when I would get somebody they would be extremely rude and tell me they owe me nothing. This happened from January 2011 - May 2011 and I became so emotionally stressed over it that I had to just give up, even though I no longer had the part and was never refunded. I've never dealt with a company with such poor customer service. I still have all the emails showing all the evidence of everything that was said and promised. DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

this is a mickey mouse company! the Micky mouse that came to help me on the road did a damage to a brand new car! he came with a sedan to help a transit! with flip flop and tank! ridicules! if you care about your car dont call, dont walk, RUN
