Scam alert! Rennen Imports will scam you! Avoid using this “repair shop.” The idiot with the annoying British accent knows nothing about Porsche or German motors. Read the previous reviews, the negative reviews are very accurate. This scammer “repair shop” tried to tell me that my Porsche was dead, and their only option was a new motor starting at around $22,000. After paying to have my car towed here and back home, then paying for their fraudulent diagnosis, I had to pay yet again to have it towed to a REAL repair shop where they were able to determine that it was a $900 part and after labor, everything was going to cost $10,500. A big difference from $22,000. Then when given a chance to make things right, the idiot tells me he was never going to repair the engine, he would have just bought a new engine to put in, even though that contradicts what he had previously said when he told me it was going to cost $22,000 to “repair,” not replace the engine. Even when given the chance to make things right, this place tried to argue and blame me. The idiot then told me it was my fault that I bought a worthless car and there was nothing he could do. Obviously, I should have read all the previous reviews for this place, as the previous reviews are loaded with customers experiencing the EXACT same garbage service. Read the reviews, look at the other people who were “quoted” insanely high prices and all went elsewhere and paid LESS THAN HALF what Rennen quoted. Previous reviews: Rennen quoted $4,000 – Customer got the repair done for $569 Rennen quoted $800 – Customer got the repair done for $500 Rennen quoted $669 – Customer got the repair done for $239 And that’s just the ones who took the time to write a review for this scammer shop. This doesn’t even include all the negative reviews that all have the same theme: brought my car to Rennen Imports, got the car back and this was broken, that was broken, and Rennen Imports takes ZERO responsibility for breaking anything. In closing, you have a scammer “repair shop,” up-charging customers for repairs by hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they’d break stuff on your car and claim they had nothing to do with it. If you like your car, enjoy not being scammed, and don’t want to spend 10 times what repairs should cost; I would HIGHLY suggest going literally ANYWHERE else. You would be 100 times better off trying to repair your car yourself with zero experience or knowledge of cars, since this would still be a more experienced and knowledge than any person working on your vehicle at Rennen Imports.

Great job on all my repairs for 2 cars I brought in! Went to other local shops and they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg. Decided to head over to PV Auto and was NOT disappointed. I did have to take back one of the cars for one minor repair that was overlooked, but they quickly assisted me and now my daughter is driving a safe reliable car to school this year.

Went there to get my breaks fixed and it was fast service. Good quality work and not very expensive. This shop is much recommended.

My daughter's truck broke down while at USF and Robert from RJL repaired it quickly for very reasonable cost. I live a few hours from Tampa, so I called him after finding his shop on this website. He even offered to tow her truck if it couldn't make it to the shop. He was honest and only repaired what was broke and did not try to con her into anything more. Thanks Robert, I'll refer all the USF parents I know to your shop from now on.

Great service ! I was greeted immediately. My car was inspected and found to have a blown motor. I had taken the car to other local shops and was given prices that were insane. Jorge immediately located an engine for me gave me a quote on the spot and saved me over $1,100.00 compared to the lowest quote I had been given. I have been using K's European Auto repair since 2009. I have him work on my family's cars as well. He is honest and reliable and a fair price. I have also bought a car from him as well. I have been stranded before and he has personally came and picked me up and check the car on the spot and knew what was wrong. Kaleel also has a vast knowledge of classic cars and rebuilds them. Do not go here they will change prices, try to get you to pay over the quoted price to correct their shoddy work. I was quoted $220 to put in 2 Catalytic Converters in a 2010 Supercharged Range Rover sport. I ordered my genuine parts from the Land Rover dealership once my parts arrived I scheduled the installation for the next day. When I brought the vehicle in the shop owner offered to source the parts. I told him I’ve already purchased the parts from the dealership. He responded “that is fine” and they began to get started. I waited the estimated 2hr for work to be completed. I stepped out to get get lunch and I received a call from them saying they were having trouble fitting the catalytic converter’s to the manifold pipes. They said the fittings were not the same. I contacted the Land Rover dealership who confirmed the part numbers. They then told me they can take the system back down to correct the spacing and re-fit the catalytic converters for an additional $200 or they can cut the inlet off of the old catalytic converter and attach it to the new catalytic converter because they felt that would make it fit. Dealership advised against this saying altering a part would void the warranty. I asked them to put the vehicle back together that it’s probably best I go to another shop. 5 min late I got my truck back went to leave and it stalled out multiple times. I pulled over and viewed the catalytic converters fittings, both were left completely loose with a 1 in gap. The check engine light, restricted performance light, and low battery light are now on and the truck barely runs. When I returned they kicked me out and refused service after telling me I bought “eBay parts” They also refused to refund payment although they never completed the job properly. I had the vehicle towed to another repair facility immediately. I would stay far away from here if you value your vehicle.

To Ashley Butler of 410 S.Dale Maybry ICE COLD AIR discount auto repair shop. I would just like to say how well she runs her bussiness and cares about her customers. I had a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder with a blown motor so I purchased one from a company that sells used motors and had Ice Cold Air do the installation,The can very goord for a month and then a feantw minnor problems occ likelyured, like an antifreeze leak which Ice Cold Air attemped to fix each time I had the car brought back. Then I had an oil leak which was most likely coming from the rear main seal which meant dropping the transmission which is a big job. So the reason I am writting this retraction is because I bad mouth her shop about not fixing the leaks when the car was brought back which ICE COLD AIR did every time the car was brought back and the oil leak I can ubderstand 10 hours of labor which the manager said if it's the rear main seal he would reimburst me for the labor. When my x-wife brought the car back to ICA cause she saw oil and antifreeze kind of leaking together and the manager tells her she needs to leave the car or it might cause more problems, you leave the car and not say I can't cause I need itthen;s your on your own if something like over heating occures and the motor seizes then it's notthe fault of the repair shop it's your fault. See I didn't know my X bruoght the car back for that problem and she was afraid to call and tell me this or my son and le Coldet my son drive 40 miles the next day I would of told her to leave the car right there and this never would of happened. Jerry has been my mechanic for the past 3 years, after Reeves told me that I was going to need a new fuel pump.... at a cost of $900.00! Jerry diagnosed the problem in a 5 minute drive and went under my car and fastened something that was loose... and I still haven't replaced my fuel pump. He is very fair and honest. Great mechanic

Never, please never call this guy Brian Dorcy if you need any mechanic work for your boat. This is the worst, unresponsive, irresponsible and unprofessional mechanic I’ve ever met. I contacted him in February 2022 and requested to fix the engine (water in the oil). He came relatively fast, the next week and found the heads need to be replaced. He ordered new heads and other parts. It took 1 month to get them delivered and 2 more weeks to Brian showed up in my yard. He took the old gasket and found that the block had a crack and needed to be replaced. Why didn't he check this the first time? If he wan’s so negligent and blind and did his job better he could find this issue at the very beginning. It took 2 more weeks to find and order a new block and more than a month to get it delivered to me. I was hoping this “crooked hands master” will come ASAP and finish his work. But he didn’t come this week and next week. He was ignoring my phone calls and messages when I tried to arrange the appointment with him. He is OK to get a new job but is always so busy finishing it. I’ve been waiting for him for more than 2 month and then I said I don’t want to wait any more and I asked him to bring a block to me. He ignored me again for a week. The only one way it worked was to push him to bring me a $2K block to say that on Tuesday I will report to the Police. And he finally brought it to me at the end of July!!!!. I’ve been waiting for 6 month and at the end I got an unfixed boat and half a garage of parts. When I googled for reviews I found that this is his normal way of business. His rating is * 1 Star. I will be happy if you read this review and won’t call this deceiver - this will save you a few months of your time and a lot of your nerves. Please spend 1 more hour and google - there are many really talented professional mechanics with hundreds of reviews and 4.8-4.9 rating. Don’t give your job to losers and scammers!

I had just bought my car and the transmission was messed up so the dealer said he would bring it to the guy he know's. (Gomez 5) They have had my car for a week and 5 days just to put in the transmission. I called yesterday to see if I could go pick it up and they told me they just had a couple bolts to fix because they stripped them, I went there today and all 4 tires are off of my car and its sitting on the lift. Then they tell me I can take my car how it is if I would like. This process should only take 2-3 days. I would NEVER recommend anybody to go to this repair shop. They will give you the run around over and over. Find someone who appreciates helping others, and not just in it for the money!

I WOULD NEVER TELL MY CAR TO THEM. THEY SUPPOSE TO REBUILD MY TRANSMISSION N THEY DID BUT HAD TO RETURN THREE TIME ALREADY BACK WITH SAME PEOBLEM. THEY DO POOR WORK AND MESS UP YOUR CAR SO YOU WILL RETURN. My car only needed a transmission after being my car to them it now have starter problem n stop in every stop light. Pay them almost 1800 n car is worse than the day i drop it off n they still creating other problem they think my car have n want to charge me for. Never take ur car to them people because they over price n car never fix n they remove every pierce in the car n still wont no what is wrong with it. I had been going to Richard's Auto for over two years to get oil changes on my household's two vehicles - never had a problem till now. Richard's was to work on my 99 Camry's throttle and while checking and cleaning it the air in-take hose was broken. Not only did Richard's not inform me of the damage - when I discovered the problem and took it back they refused to take ownership of the problem and would not help me by correcting the broken part. Congrats Richard's you lost a customer for life over a mistake and a $30 part that your guys broke. Good job - keep it up, I'm sure in this economy running off customers is a good business model. *** If I could give zero stars I would! ***

DO NOT USE! Jay charged $1500 more than original quote. When he said it was done, I drove the car two blocks and it did not run properly. He said Friday it will be done, then it was Monday, then 10AM Tuesday, and finally one more day. When I got the car it was still not safe to drive. I we got in the car and he says "I didn't drive it like you did" I thought to myself, so your saying after thousands of dollars I cant drive my car on the highway. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC. He will Lie and take your money.

CONSUMER BEWARE!! On 7/17/23 I took my car in for AC repair, rear suspension, transmission & brake fluid exchange. Although Roger, the owner, agreed to perform the work for a set price. after most of the way done he refused to complete the work without additional payment because he under estimated the cost. Once I informed him I was unwilling to pay any additional money and I expected him to honor the agreement he would not return my vehicle after a week of excuses. My GPS tracking was disconnected after logged in 2:28 am driving. I called the Sheriff’s office to help retrieve my vehicle. I then went straight to the dealer who verified the work they charged me for(radiator replacement) was not the issue with the AC and was unnecessary. The replacement of the rear suspension airbags were installed wrong and damaged. They removed all my engine cover fasteners, removed my community I’d tag from my windshield and left my car filthy. CONSUMER BEWARE!!

Company refuses to honor it's warranty. Their mechanic improperly installed a transmission and they charged to fix his errors. I recently brought in a friend's Nissan Altima to have the transmission replaced and had it charged to my AAMCO Credit Card account. After picking the picking up the auto, the starter made a grinding noise when attempting to start the vehicle. Believing this to be a separate problem I took it to my regular mechanic. He stated that the problem was the screw in the transmission mounting was improperly installed and was causing damage to the starter. We had the car towed to their shop. The manager "Charlie" informed us that since another mechanic looked at the vehicle they would not honor the warranty. This is unacceptable because without having a third party inspect the vehicle how would they be found at fault. It is all around bad business to allow your employees to perform substandard work, and even worse practice not to fix the problem when it does occur.I currently have an open complaint with the better business bureau about the matter.

First of all whatever you do, do not buy a car from this place. It will be the worst mistake of your life. The owner is extremely rude and I'm pretty positive that there are people he hires that work on cars whom are not professional. I bought a car from this place in November of 2013 and this man sold me a car with frame damage. After about 6 months the car began to act up. It needs a new transmission and a caliber. The cars worth which is $4000 is how much it costs to fix the car. I regret ever making business with this establishment. Do not let this man get a penny from you. I tried to rate this place 0 stars, however the website did not allow for me to do that. So I had to put one start but don't be fooled he deserves negative stars.
