Engine repair service near Westchase, FL

I was driving from out of state to my 2nd home for a Christmas family visit. As I was driving over the Courtney Campbell Causeway, sun setting on the horizon, had to open the sunroof and smell the salt air. Beautiful scene. Got to my place a few minutes later...could not close my sunroof. Tried to get the roof to close over the next day to no avail. Called the local dealer, earliest service appointment was 7 weeks out. Was recommended to a European repair shop by a neighbor. After looking at it for a few minutes, they said, "need to take it to the dealer, work too involved". Looked up European car repair in Pinellas County online, several came up, including R&B's. Had great reviews. Called and spoke to A.J. Professional, informative, explained the initial steps w/costs and could get me in the next day. Dropped it off next day and they Ubered me back to my place. They called a few hours later, had gotten the roof to close, which is all I wanted. Cost was exactly what was quoted, initially. Quoted me a price for a new sunroof motor, which sounded reasonable. Decided to leave as is because of heading back North in a couple of weeks and not needing the roof open for quite a while. Being from out of town and completely at their mercy, they could have taken it to me. Instead, A.J. and Molly chose to be honest, courteous and professional. If you have work needed on a European car...take it to this shop. You won't regret it.

This is a great place for repairs. The "dealership" we went to could not fix our vehicle. Bob and his crew got it right the first time at way less $$$.

Wonderful people. After having my car misdiagnosed by another repair shop.( they told me I needed a starter, and a battery) John and his crew at Ultima diagnosed my vehicle as having a charging problem. They replaced the alternator, and turned a lousy experience into a good one. I will be back. hats off to the fine people at Ultima Automotive.

I took my mother's car to a popular franchise for a oil change,the car did not have any obvious problems, I was told the car needed a new tie rod and a manifold gasket replaced. Told them to do the oil change only. Within a few weeks I started to notice one of the front tires wearing more than the rest. So now I needed to purchase tires for the front, I called several places for price quotes and found Suncoast Automotive to have the best pricing. I asked for tires & a front end alignment. Received fast service and honesty.... the manager told me that a nut was lose on the tie rod. I had them check to see if I did need to have gasket replaced and yes, I guess it's a common problem with this particluar car. I had this work done here a few weeks later. Hate needing to pay for car repairs or maintenance, but love having a auto mechanic shop that you can trust. Would highly recommend to anyone who asks
