Auto parts service near Beecher, IL

It is currently Wednesday, 7/14. On Monday, 7/12, I contacted Speedway requesting a part for my truck. They told me it would be $100.00 and they would have the part the following day. I went in there and paid for it, expecting it to be available on Tuesday. I went up there today (Wednesday) to pick up my part, and I was informed that they did not have the part, it was going to cost an additional $25.00 more than the quoted price, and if I still wanted it, they could have it tomorrow. So here I am without the part I need. I took the day off of work so that I could get my truck fixed. Basically, I am now out a few hundred dollars and still can't fix my truck because the wonderful staff at speedway couldn't take 30 seconds to call me Monday or Tuesday and tell me that it would be more than they expected and they would need some additional money to get the part. Or better yet, they could have just ordered it and given it to me for the price they quoted. That is what a respectable business would do. There are plenty of junk yards out there, I would recommend passing this one by.

The are the most professional, reliable and honest people in town. I my many years of dealing with different mechanics and tradesmen alike not one even comes close. Matt and the rest of the staff are friendly, caring and most importantly honest in meeting your needs without overselling or over inflating their prices. Please don't waste your time with giving this company any of your time or money. I have been leaving messages with Acme Auto Parts,Inc since August 2nd for the poor service I had the week 17th of July. The service started as we looked for a truck part. This company said they had a good one and would sell it. ($100's) It was 3 hours away. When it was picked up it should have been all good. As Acme said it was a good part. Again 3 hours away. Once back into town, truck on the lift and ready to make it happen. Remember the part was sold as a good part and ended up being worse than what was getting replaced. Now a trip back up there and service of not caring they wasted days of getting a repair done. If you extra time and money go ahead use them. But I wouldn't if I were you.

I brought my car in for a diagnostic and they gave me over a quote for over $3,000 in repairs. I took it down the street for a 2nd opinion and half the things they said were wrong was a lie. Had my car repaired where I got thr and opinion for less than 1k. It's been 6 months and not a single problem. A dealership and repair shop run by conmen. Color me surprised (NOT)

Best Body Shop in ALL of CHICAGO! Honestly!!! They are just amazing. Even the owners are wonderful :)

Same as other reviewer. Way overpriced. Charged almost $400 in labor on a simple job. They charge you to diagnose and don't credit it towards your purchase like almost ALL reputable shops do. Tried to speak to them about it and they basically said. "too bad" GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!. Wish I would have seen the other review before I went.
