I am Kevin, and on 2/20/12 i had just purchased my 99 ford Taurus from STANDARD AUTO ON CHICAGO ROAD AND SAUK TRAIL. for me the car was all of 10 hours old. approx. 2 weeks after my praise for standard auto was posted - the car broke down due to an engine block crack. when i asked Steve to do something about the fact he knowingly sold me a bad car - he refused. Steve, Sue and all of the staff at standard auto give you their very best until you have paid for and driven your car off their lot - after that - you are nothing to them. This man and his band of merry thieves will take your money and ignore the problem they caused. i officially RECANT my previous praise of Standard Auto! BUYERS BEWARE OF STANDARD AUTO SALES - if you buy from them you will be back on the bus with me!

I took my ML 350 due to a problem with the Engine. The drive chain had broken. The dealer's recommendation was to repair and cost was something of buying another car! So, I took to Dupage Auto Werks. The recommendation is to replace the 118K miles engine with a much lower engine. They shopped and found a fimilar engine and practically did a 'Engine Transplantation'! Now that I have an engine not only has a lower mileage, but also was cheaper overall. Very satisfied with them to have suggested and able to get my car worth somehting that I can keep it a much longer time!
