I want to thank everyone at North Belt automotive for doing a great job on my car. They were really fast and professional I brought my car into the shop at 4:40pm Friday(the shop closes at 5). They allowed me to wait inside with my toddler son until my ride came, which unfortunately was running late. They called me by 11:30 Saturday evening. If you needed anything done to your car I would definitely prefer this place!! -Arika Ellis

We asked for conventional oil. The man recommended synthetic oil. When we said no, he said we neeeded that oil or our warranty would be void. We agreed. But on the receipt there was a law stating that no one can force you to have that oil. And we called Chevy and they said that the synthetic is recommended but our warranty would be fine if we didn't have it. The agrued with us when we confronted him. He said the paragraph law actually said something different. In the end he argued but charged us for the conventional. After we left we found grease on the upholstery of the car. Black grease on tan. It was on the ceiling. The guy was too big to get in and out of the car and he had to grip the top of the door frame every time. They lost our service and we will never be going back. We were lied too. And my mother felt like she was taken advantage of.

Remembering back to the day Don opened. It is because of his great service that he has allowed his business to grow and become a pillar of the community. It is truly hard to find service shops like his that care about their work and stand by it without overcharging and finding things that don't really need "a fixin". Hi-Tech Automotive Is a Cut above the Other Shops in Missouri! First Class Service Advisor Tony Took Care of My Son Matthew and My BMW like we were family! I was over 2500 miles away - But Tony Made sure to keep me up to date with everything We needed done. AVOID AT ALL COST. If one star could be given it would. Repaired minivan, put in lesser aftermarket parts without asking or telling that non-original parts would be used. When part failed, wouldn't agree to either of the two reasonable restitutions offered and s basically told to get out of the shop. This same shop didn't repair a bolt in a tire that was brought in, and paid for to get repaired. When confronted, shop claimed it was a DIFFERENT bolt in the same tire that just happened to be in the same region and be the same size. This is also the same shop that told us we had a cracked oil pan, that never turned up again as an issue at this shop (despite never being fixed), never leaked oil and has not been found by two other shops.
