Alternator took a dump, found this mechanic shop in Plainfield, IL, near me, towed it in and bam got lucky left 3 hours later. This Plainfield auto repair shop is on top of their game. Thanks for getting me in and back on the road so quick and cost effectively.

I highly recommend Steve and crew for repairing your Audi (and other makes). After a long search for repairing my car, Steve was very helpful over the phone without even seeing the car. He gave me an honest opinion and range or repair cost - again, without seeing the car. I brought it in and he repaired it and a couple other things he found that were related. When I came to pick the car up, he noticed another issue when pulling it up for me. He brought it right back in the garage and let me borrow his car while they made this additional repair. I was not charged for this, as Steve took responsibility for it. Honesty and fair pricing is difficult to find, especially with cars that are expensive to fix, and I'm thrilled I've landed at a place I can trust and use moving forward. I took my 2002 chevy pickup for an oil change on9/9/14 at that time I was informed needed to replace tie rod end replacements @ a cost of 637.00 which I paid. After paying I return home and on my table I had a 75.00 off any service of 600.00 or more card from Bartels. I call the Oswego store and request the credit and Devin (Manager) did so, as credit to my account. I returned a month later for a brake inspection, and was told by Shawn McDowell I needed everything, brake pads rotors calipers etc.I told him I did not believe that to be true.I took my truck and had my brake job somewhere else which did not require the extensive work as quoted at Bartels. Still having a credit of 75.00 I took my truck for a oil change, upon completion I was asked for a payment of 20.88, I replied take it from the credit I have .I was told by Shawn McDowell You can't use it for that! By this time I realized I had no other form of payment with me, at that time I said I would run home and get it, mind you I live less than 1 mile away, then I'm told we can't let you take the truck. By this time I am fuming. I then have to call my husband who is very ill with fatal cancer and in a hospice bed because he cannot get up without assistance, and ask for our credit card number. As I am leaving Shawn smiles and says the general manager will be in on Monday. Monday comes I talk with Devin, made him aware of the situation and DEMANDED my 75.00. I also asked for the owners contact information,I was given the number to another location. I have been a customer for over 10 years. I will NEVER return there again. WORD TO THE WISE! WHO NEEDS CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THIS.

Before scrapping my 1998 Mercedes S600 with 200K miles on the clock, I took a friend's advice and drove over to MPC. Best decision I made in several years. I just wanted to thanks these guys as a whole. I brought my SAAB in for an oil service. I spoke to the tall service manager. He was helpful and explained I had 3 open recalls on my SAAB then one is related to my seat belts. This is why I always like going back to the dealership to have my SAAB repairs completed. Hollywood has reasonable prices, plus the staff is super helpful. Joe and his guys do a great job of serving cars. Plus, they have a full auto parts store attached to the garage, so you know they're going to have a part when you need it. Not only is the staff super helpful but they are also quick and pay attention to detail. A winning combo. You can't go wrong with Hollywood Auto!

I failed the Illinois Emission Test. I took my Bentley to a performance shop to be repaired. They quoted me $3,927.00 to replace the catalytic converter. I call Bentley Gold Coast and spoke to the service manager and explained my situation. He said no problem that component is covered by a 8 year / 80,000 mile warranty. He sent a flat bed and picked up my Bentley and installed the catalytic converter - all done at no charge. I had my Bentley back in 2 days. I recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks for the professional and prompt service.

I have known the professionals at European Auto House for years (2004) after being referred to them through another trusted individual. I have found them to be the most straight forward and reliable mechanics that I have ever dealt with for any make of auto repair (foreign or domestic).

I went to a few mechanics that claimed that my car had a lot of stuff that needed fixing. I went to Araiza and he told me it was only one sensor that needed to be replaced to pass the emissions. Great man. I recommend. Thanks to him, he saved me a lot of money and time. I haven’t had an issue with my car since.

WORST DEALER EVER. BOUNCH OF LIERS. I bough a truck here, I was promise all mechanical issues will be fixed. never did anything. the "general manager"? is a joke. The "owner"? he will come to you and assure everything will be fine just to gain your trust, and once you sign you are F#$%. I'd spent around 3000 fixing what their "mechanic" could not fix. By the way, the comment above from "sofia" I'm glad they fix you engine light, probably they disconnected. I saw this guy working, regular people. They have the knowledge needed to change a tire. I witnesses many people complaining about the poor mechanical condition of the car they bought, the sales guys specially the "general manger in sales" just ignore them. I wish I could sue this liars, but I spent my money fixing my truck.

Great mechanics showed me all my before and after stuff, showed me my new parts and showed me pictures of when the intake was removed, very very clean mechanics as far as work ethics . Would not go anywhere else. Thanks you guys for being a blessing to me

Never again , Tried to buy tires off Ebay from them , but would not accept payment from them , had to go to their shop to pay for them , plus Chicago , and State tax to boot . Asked to see the DOT code to see if these were indeed "New" tires as advertised , was not allowed or shown them before work was done .Asked for estimate on how much this was going to cost me , total Price of the So called 4 "New" tires mount , balance, disposal fee ..etc...went on deaf ears and work was performed with out my authorization anyway . After it was done , I look at my receipt and it says " Used Tires" , I questioned it and was told they are "New" but made sometime in 2014. That is not a " New" tire by me ... I just hope and pray that I did not get some altered , used , abused, blemished, damaged , or only God knows what else tires , that will be GARBAGE , after their ever so gracious and kind , 90 day warranty , which was not explained to me what if anything is warranted . Going back to the DOT codes on the tires , I can not even tell when they were made because the third oval that contains the Manufacturing date is missing .... I spent good , hard earned money on a product that isn't even what is advertised on Ebay , Buyer beware on what these people sell , I am taking the car ( my daughters by the way ) to a Goodyear store to have them check out these " New" tires and see if they can guess how old they are and if they are any good , For if they are not deemed any good, by the fine folks at Goodyear .... BACK THEY GO .... and then I contact the BBB , news people and anyone else who will listen . So like I said ....Never again , and Buyer Beware , you don't know what you are going to get from this establishment .

Worst place to take your engine to get rebuilt, do not take your engine here. I had my engine rebuilt there and after 5,000 miles it was leaking oil and anti-freeze from the head gasket. While it was being worked on they called me and said my block was "twisted" from overheating, which never happened while I owned the car. So I paid to have the block replaced and still ended up with these problems. I called within the 1 year warranty and the owner gave me the run around for over a month. I offered for him just to provide me with the parts, so I did not have to deal wiith him anymore, and I would cover the labor and I still got the runaround. I ended up buying the stuff myself and having another shop doing the head gasket job and paying again to have my heads resurfaced. This shop would not provide me with a warranty because the block was replaced. Turns out the block they provide that I paid for is no good and it is leaking again. Can't afford to pay 2,000 more so now I am stuck with it and will drive it till it dies. Do not get your engines done here. JAY
