Tune up service near Gardner, IL

Needed a transfer case replaced. They were the only shop that would attempt to see if they could fix / replace due to the car being a 2002. The work took several weeks to complete. Took the car home and found some issues that were overlooked. Took the car back and they fixed the main issue no charge . Had an additional matter that was not initially covered but I worked with the owner Stephen and he made things right. The vehicle is now fixed and working properly.

I have lived in the area over a decade, and Tuffy has seen many (if not all) of our family vehicles. Some needed more repairs and upkeep than others, but Paul is definitely someone I trust. Just a few weeks ago we were going out of town for a funeral and decided to bring it in before we left. Long story short, we brought it in for an oil change and Tuffy found a major issue that needed to be repaired immediately. Tuffy not only saved us the danger of breaking down on our way to the funeral, but they worked out an arrangement with Enterprise to rent a 15 passenger van for my large family! Please don't waste your time with giving this company any of your time or money. I have been leaving messages with Acme Auto Parts,Inc since August 2nd for the poor service I had the week 17th of July. The service started as we looked for a truck part. This company said they had a good one and would sell it. ($100's) It was 3 hours away. When it was picked up it should have been all good. As Acme said it was a good part. Again 3 hours away. Once back into town, truck on the lift and ready to make it happen. Remember the part was sold as a good part and ended up being worse than what was getting replaced. Now a trip back up there and service of not caring they wasted days of getting a repair done. If you extra time and money go ahead use them. But I wouldn't if I were you.

Ongoing problem for 9 years. Dealer repaired emissions error and check engine light returned in two weeks with same problem. AACCEL repaired the emissions, and now I can fuel the car in less than 15 minutes and pass the Will County emissions testing.
