Retail tire service near Naperville, IL

*the mechanic lies, and the store manager is very rude* I had a fuel filter replaced at Woodfield Schaumburg Firestone, and I asked the mechanic if he replaced the plastic clips that hold the lines in place. He said both clips were replaced with new clips. I got my car back and inspected it myself. One of the clips looked old. A couple days later I went to a different firestone and asked them to check it. They confirmed it was an old (original) clip, so they changed it for me real quick (nothing had to be taken apart, it was very easy). Everything was rechecked, and the car returned to me (no charge). I contacted the manager at the Schaumburg location to discuss my concerns about being lied to by his mechanic, and the manager became defensive and rude. I went to the Schaumburg store, and the manager would not even meet/talk with me. So I spoke to the only remaining mechanic at Schaumburg that I like/trust and explained everything to him... gave him the clip, and asked him to show it to the manager since he wouldn't talk to me. This whole experience was very upsetting. Me, my brother, parents, 1 neighbor, and any friends I referred to them in the past will not be going to the Schaumburg firestone anymore. All they had to do was tell me they reused a clip (not lie), or get a new clip (less than $1). They lost at least 5 customers for lying about a cheap plastic clip and of course the rude customer treatment. I was a customer for over 3 years. This was my 3rd and last bad experience with the Woodfield Schaumburg location. In my personal opinion, if you value your vehicle... do not go to this shop.

I am a 65 year old Grandmother from North Carolina who was traveling with her daughter-in-law to Joliet, Ill. for a wedding on Sept. 6, 2014. A "Low tire pressure" signal showed on her Chevy HHR on the way to the wedding and we were directed to NTB by her uncle - who owns a tire business in Middletown, Ohio. I was advised by the tech that if the tire could be repaired, it would be about $25.00. I waited only a very short time for the evaluation and repair before I was ready to return the wedding festivities. Everyone was so nice and they sent me on my way without charging me anything (Out-of-State courtesy!) Best customer service anyone could ask for...they now have a customer for life. Ongoing problem for 9 years. Dealer repaired emissions error and check engine light returned in two weeks with same problem. AACCEL repaired the emissions, and now I can fuel the car in less than 15 minutes and pass the Will County emissions testing.

Was in a major accident, had to have the right side of my truck as well as the bed replaced and painted. Looks awesome and drives great. The worked with the insurance company and got me back on the road.

Took my son's car in as I didn't have time to look at it....awesome service, explained everything to my wife and answered her questions so that she understood everything....and they actually came in under their estimate! Jamal(Store manager) is one the biggest crookes in the automotive industry who takes advantage of unknowing customers .Not only is he very unprofessional but also marking up prices over 5 times what they cost.My mom went there and was charged $4000 dollars for under $2000 in work (had a dealership and 2 independent shops verify this by a second opinion and quote ).Not only that but Jamal charged for parts that were not even changed .When he was confronted on his shady borderline criminal actions he became very belligerent and rude !! Escalated to corporate (bill Gallagher) who I was assured would return the call that day and he took a week to just call back !!with no solution to these obvious issues!! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY !!!

Have always had great service and work done when bringing my vehicle to AAA. Prices are fair and haven't had an issue in the 4 years I've been going to AAA for auto repairs. Highly recommend this shop.
