The automatic transmission in my Toyota Sienna van appeared failing to up-shift to 3rd and OD gears. I took the car to a number of local shops to diagnose and quote for repair. The Toyota dealer charged me $62 for only taking a short test drive without any diagnostic scanning of the car and said the transmission needs to replace (refurbished) at $3520. Another shop did do the scanning and test for free but told me to rebuild the transmission. Then I came to Superior Transmission. Frank and the technician inspected my car in very much details, including check the fluid, scan the data and test drive. They found it was most likely a solenoid problem and gave me detailed explanation how they would fix it step-by-step, from the best to worst scenario. All these were done in a very professional way and free! I can tell they are experts on transmissions but, most importantly, they are honest and want to fix your problem instead of taking the advantage on your situation to make the most money from you. They gained my trust immediately. Finally my car was repaired by Superior Transmission at the cost about 1/10 of the other. The job is also backed up by warrantee or credit if further work becomes necessary. So far my car runs as good as it used to be. I highly recommend Superior Transmission to everyone who needs transmission repair, at least it should be your shopping list.

I just wanted to thanks these guys as a whole. I brought my SAAB in for an oil service. I spoke to the tall service manager. He was helpful and explained I had 3 open recalls on my SAAB then one is related to my seat belts. This is why I always like going back to the dealership to have my SAAB repairs completed. I had my car towed and alternator done in February. Fast, efficient, great service. They told me about my bearing (which I already knew), but also said I didn't have to get it done right away. I could drive on it a few more months. And I did. Just went back in May 15th 2012 for my muffler. It had rusted and the pipe split in half. They fixed it, my bearing, and an oil change for $220. The bearing alone, I had been quoted $250 every place I had called. Took 3 hours. They started work on my car right away and a great warranty. I love this shop.

I failed the Illinois Emission Test. I took my Bentley to a performance shop to be repaired. They quoted me $3,927.00 to replace the catalytic converter. I call Bentley Gold Coast and spoke to the service manager and explained my situation. He said no problem that component is covered by a 8 year / 80,000 mile warranty. He sent a flat bed and picked up my Bentley and installed the catalytic converter - all done at no charge. I had my Bentley back in 2 days. I recommend them to everyone I know. I had the transmission go out on my ford five hundred. Ford quoted me over $9000 for a new CVT transmission. I searched around for several weeks and decided to use Dugan's Transmission after getting their name from Certified Transmission.
