This is by far the worst company I have ever come across. They are incompetent, ignorant, thieves. They now have $1400 dollars of ours and our truck is still not fixed. They gave it back to me three times, each time never fixing the problem. On the fourth try they actually thought they were going to get some more money out of me. After paying $1400 for them to tear apart a trans case that wasn't necessary they expected me to pay for the correct part. The total cost to repair my truck in reality should have been well under $300 including parts. They took $1400 and had my car for three weeks, only to have nothing repaired at all. I honestly don't know how people like this sleep at night. I would be more than happy to get in on a class action law suit with anyone who is interested. This guy needs to be stopped. If you have had a successful claim with the BBB please let me know. That will be my next step. Pass the word on before they rob one of your friends or family members. This is a very convenient location for me,and my family has used Frank's for years. The service is great and the prices are always on point. I really like being able to drop off my car, then walk across the street and catch the metra into work.

I took my ML 350 due to a problem with the Engine. The drive chain had broken. The dealer's recommendation was to repair and cost was something of buying another car! So, I took to Dupage Auto Werks. The recommendation is to replace the 118K miles engine with a much lower engine. They shopped and found a fimilar engine and practically did a 'Engine Transplantation'! Now that I have an engine not only has a lower mileage, but also was cheaper overall. Very satisfied with them to have suggested and able to get my car worth somehting that I can keep it a much longer time!

I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. I drive a 20 yr. old car, because I can't afford a better one. These wonderful businessmen keep it on the road for a fair price. They don't try to sell me stuff I don't need. Hands down, this is the most honest business I've ever seen. These guys are the kind of local business that we all need to support! Best auto shop. Ever!
