I called on the weekend (Saturday) to make a appointment to get my car fixed. Was almost un-drivable and my only car, so I needed it fixed a-sap. Soonest appointment wasn't until Monday after weekend at 10am. First off, when I showed up for the appointment the guy made it clear that not only were they not able to work on car today but probably wont even fix it that same day. After I explained that I would just take it somewhere else since it was my only source of transportation, he said he would try to work on it and see what he could do. Wondered why I even made a appointment. I explained to him what I thought the problem was and made sure he called me as soon as he knew for sure what the problem was and so I could give him permission to work on it. (Depending on the cost needed to make sure I could afford it) Before I left he approached me "beating around the bush" Saying things like "It's bad and going to be expensive" Not wanting to give me a exact quote. (Keep in mind I had gotten a quote on Saturday for the replacement of a water pump including labor at $330.) He tried to give me a explanation that is was leaking something with the coolant, making it obvious I had a blown gasket and that it was not the water pump that needed to be replaced. After asking him about 4 times what it meant and how much it was going to be he finally said it would be at least 10 hours of labor which alone could be about $1000. I told him to please double check and call me to make sure it was in fact the problem. I was devastated... He said he wouldn't know for sure till about a hour when the car cooled off. Three hours later I had my husband call him to find out what was going on since I had not heard back from him. He told him the same story. I then called and explained to him I would be picking up the car simply because I could not afford it at the time. He was helpful and explained I had 3 open recalls on my SAAB then one is related to my seat belts. This is why I always like going back to the dealership to have my SAAB repairs completed. I have known the professionals at European Auto House for years (2004) after being referred to them through another trusted individual. I have found them to be the most straight forward and reliable mechanics that I have ever dealt with for any make of auto repair (foreign or domestic).

When someone ran into the back of my Chevy Traiblazer, I was shocked to learn that I would be responsible for my $500.00 deductible. Times are tough and if it was not for The LINCOLN BOBYSHOP AUTO REPAIR paying my deductible, I would not have been able to have my Trailblazer repaired. You even cleaned the interior of my truck, it was a pleasant surprise.

I have taken at least three vehicles to these guys over the last four or five years and have had major spring and shock work done to the cost of something like two thousand dollars. These were older vehicles and needed a lot of work. The work was solid and the price was usually the best offer around. This place is old school and has been around for decades. When I want to cut the BS and get the job done I just remember these guys. They always take me to the vehicle once its up in the air and show me exactly what needs to be done before they start. The price always seems right once I see the amount of work they have to do.

I failed the Illinois Emission Test. I took my Bentley to a performance shop to be repaired. They quoted me $3,927.00 to replace the catalytic converter. I call Bentley Gold Coast and spoke to the service manager and explained my situation. He said no problem that component is covered by a 8 year / 80,000 mile warranty. He sent a flat bed and picked up my Bentley and installed the catalytic converter - all done at no charge. I had my Bentley back in 2 days. I recommend them to everyone I know. I went to a few mechanics that claimed that my car had a lot of stuff that needed fixing. I went to Araiza and he told me it was only one sensor that needed to be replaced to pass the emissions. Great man. I recommend. Thanks to him, he saved me a lot of money and time. I haven’t had an issue with my car since.

WORST DEALER EVER. BOUNCH OF LIERS. I bough a truck here, I was promise all mechanical issues will be fixed. never did anything. the "general manager"? is a joke. The "owner"? he will come to you and assure everything will be fine just to gain your trust, and once you sign you are F#$%. I'd spent around 3000 fixing what their "mechanic" could not fix. By the way, the comment above from "sofia" I'm glad they fix you engine light, probably they disconnected. I saw this guy working, regular people. They have the knowledge needed to change a tire. I witnesses many people complaining about the poor mechanical condition of the car they bought, the sales guys specially the "general manger in sales" just ignore them. I wish I could sue this liars, but I spent my money fixing my truck.
