I brought my car in for a diagnostic and they gave me over a quote for over $3,000 in repairs. I took it down the street for a 2nd opinion and half the things they said were wrong was a lie. I have lived in the area over a decade, and Tuffy has seen many (if not all) of our family vehicles. Some needed more repairs and upkeep than others, but Paul is definitely someone I trust. Just a few weeks ago we were going out of town for a funeral and decided to bring it in before we left. Long story short, we brought it in for an oil change and Tuffy found a major issue that needed to be repaired immediately. Tuffy not only saved us the danger of breaking down on our way to the funeral, but they worked out an arrangement with Enterprise to rent a 15 passenger van for my large family! Meineke in Joliet is horrible now! The new "manager/owners" have taken over. The good mechanic is gone. I have been a long standing Meineke customer and when I called today to ask for my mechanic Mark, I was told he "Is no longer working here" (very rudely)! So I asked to speak to Vern and I was told he was busy and to call him later, also very rudely!!! I will find someone else to fix my cars from now on!
