Our daughter is in school in Atchison, KS. Her truck's "service engine soon" light was on in her truck. We found R&S when we visited the town and recommended our daughter go there. Scott diagnosed the problem as a misfire and made the necessary repairs. Scott took care of her right away, communicated clearly throughout the process and his prices were vary reasonable. Our daughter is back on the road and very happy! Being over 2,000 miles away from our daughter, it is nice to know that there is someone we can rely on in town to take care of her. We know some of our daughters friends went to Scott as well and were very happy with his work. Quality work in a timely manner with a great price! $50 brake job per front and rear was an exceptional price compared to all the automotive in town... I'm glad that my friend recommended me to this shop! I will gladly bring my car back! Thanks guys!

I am not very happy with my experience at Peerless Automotive. I called them telling them my alternator is going bad and needs replaced and then took my car into their shop and told them in person. They told me I still had to pay $160 dollars for the “test” on the issues that I already knew. Previous dated inspection by Peerless showed my belt needed replaced as well. Upon test completion it was in fact my alternator that needed replaced. Despite letting Peerless perform the work, I didn’t not receive my $160 back for the “test” they needed to run. The work itself to replace the alternator and belt was outrageously high ($940 including test cost). A new alternator costs approximately $100-$120 and a belt costs ~$30 for a Toyota Corolla. I will not be bringing my car back to Peerless for any maintenance work other than oil changes.
