These people replaced my daughters engine total cost $1400.00. A week later we had to take it back because of a bad oil leak. It was the main rear seal. $20 part but $350 in labor because they had to drop the engine again. I asked why they wouldn't automatically replace a $20 seal in a 2002 engine while the engine was dropped and their response was well it's under warranty so you can file a claim with the person you bought the engine from to get reimbursed. So I did and guess what?? Claim denied because they said replacing the main rear seal when replacing an engine is considered routine maintenance and should've been checked and replaced at the time of the engine replacement.

Tim worthys transmission repair is a great shop ran by Tim and his 2 sons. They all are really friendly and can work on any make of vehicle, they do all our work. They are very up front and always get the job done right explaining exactly what is going on. I like this shop cause you get too talk to Tim and nick they are the techs, and they actually answer the phone. There are no sales men to fast talk you on the phone. Tim and Nick can do anything transmissions, differentials, transfer case, engine repair anything that needs done on any vehicle from a chevy to a BMW. They did valve cover gaskets on my BMW x5 when no other shop would touch it nick said it takes 16 hours I had my car back in a day and half there great guys.

I am not very happy with my experience at Peerless Automotive. I called them telling them my alternator is going bad and needs replaced and then took my car into their shop and told them in person. They told me I still had to pay $160 dollars for the “test” on the issues that I already knew. Previous dated inspection by Peerless showed my belt needed replaced as well. Upon test completion it was in fact my alternator that needed replaced. Despite letting Peerless perform the work, I didn’t not receive my $160 back for the “test” they needed to run. The work itself to replace the alternator and belt was outrageously high ($940 including test cost). A new alternator costs approximately $100-$120 and a belt costs ~$30 for a Toyota Corolla. I will not be bringing my car back to Peerless for any maintenance work other than oil changes.

I got my engine replaced at Aamco and it took them 47 days and my car runs like crap! the check engine light is on again and I Just got the car back 2 days ago. Not only that, they replaced my windshield (unauthorized) and didn't seal it right cause air is entering through the windshield! I have had all negative experiences with this shop and if you can avoid them, I suggest you do.
