On October 30th we arrived in New Orleans in a BMW M6 with AC and brake problems. After reading the lousy reviews of the dealer, on a whim ( this was a Sunday afternoon) I caller Raz at Briskers and surprise... he answered the phone. I told him about my problems and he said to bring it over and he would look at it. This was important as we only planned to be in New Orleans for 3 days, leaving Wednesday AM. He diagnosed the problems, we left the car and Tuesaday noon the car was ready. Professionally done. If I lived in NOLA he would be the only place I went for my srevice. Great service, great guy. I have been knowing of and using Diagnostic Auto Repair since the 1980s. Rikey and Paul have been and remain in business in Laplace for a simple reason. These guys know what they are doing and are the best I have found who explain the service or repairs you need and why and do the job right. Being a retired mechanic and auto collector and enthusiast all my life, I know. It is extremely hard for me to let anyone touch my vehicles as I used to do most of my own repairs and for my friends and family until I became disabled in 2006. But I would bring the jobs too big for me to handle to Diagnostic with confidence. Well since I have no choice now, I trust only one auto shop in the area. D.A.Repair as they are the most professional, first class repair shop in the Laplace area. They been doing it a long time and continue to offer very quick and quality repairs. This is by far the worst repair shop I've ever been to. Their rates are higher than anyone around for work that is incomplete. When you bring your car there, expect to throw away money and still have to bring it to another shop for fixing. They'll misdiagnosis the issue, charge you for repairs not needed, and then say we've tried everything. Sorry but, no refund should be there slogan. You'll end up towing your car to another shop. Do not walk away from this hole in the wall, RUN!! Plus they are the most unfriendly people when ripping you off. They told my friend he needed a new head gasket. Was gonna charge him two weeks salary worth of work. He got a second opinion and it was an easy fix for under a hundred dollars. My experience was worse. Please take the warning or else!

Always said I wanted to write a review when I'm satisfied.. This shop was the best price and easiest to work with. They told me how much and how long and it cost and took the amount of time they said. Never rude always very nice. Been coming here for 12yrs and always have been up front with me. This place a rip off before changing the tires the front end man and the tire changer checked the front to see if something was wrong, at which time the tire changer then removed the tire for the new ones. After a while I inquired when was the front end alaignment was to begin when I was told waiting on a price for parts as to my surprise, yes another over $1000.00 when I should have been told before tire new tires was put on, so now I have tires on my truck but still needs rack and pinion for no alaignment so the tires will not be warrantied if something happens total rip off never recommend them are go there.
