This is one of those places that when you go for something simple like an oil change, they will find something that they say should be fixed asap, and that they can do for you right now. However, their prices are far higher than other shops can do it for you, and they quoted me some front end work on my truck that the dealer could do for less, and with original parts! They advertise that every 4th oil change is free. However, when we tried to use the 4th free one on our truck, that was excluded, even though they did it before. Latest thing was overcharging for a routine oil change on our car by $5. OK, not a big deal, but when asked, they gave some stupid reason hat the car needed an extra quart of oil. Sorry, that's just not a plausible answer. When we requested a refund, because we showed them he old oil change slip, they only would give us $2. There are many other places to go to get your car worked on. I suggest you go there and don't bother to stop at Jackson's.

Barry Roth and his team provided great service for my '98 M3 Cabrio for years. It was a perfect car, and they helped me keep it that way. When I decided to upgrade, Barry knew I wanted a Carrera 4 and located one for me a few months back. The car's in great shape, and the transaction was straight-forward, no BS, no extra charges, no hassle. I wanted to thank the mechanics of Safeway on Atwood avenue in Cranston for their excellent service on my vehicle. My wife and I went in this morning for an oil change and inspection. They went above and beyond with outstanding customer service. They Informed me of preventative maintenance and that my tire pressure was not correct and even corrected the issue. The price was fair and service was excellent. They put plastic in the car and even vacuumed it! I go to Safeway with my company vehicle and my personal vehicle for all repairs/maintenance. I highly recommend Safeway to anyone who cares about their vehicle and want to know that their vehicle will be properly serviced by quality mechanics!

Crooked business. Had an exhaust dump valve welded in. I don't know how they did the job, but they decided that welding about 3/4 of the circumference of the pipes together was "sufficient enough"--clearly laziness because the pipe was hard to reach. I wondered why my exhaust sounded so terrible. Also, they didn't even do the install as I asked--they placed the valve in the wrong spot. Overpriced. Do not go here. I have photos of proof.
