I went in for diagnostic work regarding my gas mileage, they did full diagnostic and found nothing wrong and spoke with me extensively about it. They didn't charge me for the work, they were fantastic, pleasant, knowledgeable, personable, this was a 5 star car service, I will be going back again and again.

WOW, My car failed inpection, He gave me a list of things that needed to be done in order for it to pass and a quote to fix it all. Honestly, the quote seemed reasonable but I took it to another Garage to get a comparative quote. The difference was huge. I got the work done and took it back to get re-inspected. It failed again. He claimed one of the items I had fixed still needed to be done. Took it elsewhere to get re-inpected and passed. Here's the deal, He's taking advantage of his position as an inpection station and using it as a way to get more business. I was warned about him but I wanted to make my own mind up. Well, I have. Every interaction with him seemed like I was being hustled. He says, "I always try to do what's best for my customers" and he says it often. Maybe he believes that just saying it over and over will make you believe it. Hell, he may even beleive it himself.

For the past few years now, I have trusted "Narragansett Auto Repair" with my car (and my wallet)! The two people to talk with there are Dan and Donna. Dan is the owner and I've enjoyed watching him as both the "boss" and a mechanic and on that rare occasion when he and his employees are stumped with a diagnosis, he is humble enough to turn elsewhere for input. Jaime has experience in all aspects of auto repair spanning over 30 years in the industry. He is an ASE Certified Master Technician and ASE L1 certified. He specializes in electrical repair, diagnostics and fabrication. Residents of Melrose, Jaime and his wife have five children. In his spare time, Jaime enjoys teaching martial arts and educating women in self defense. Manny studied electrical engineering at the University of Massachusetts, and has over 20 years of experience in the auto repair industry. He is an ASE Certified Master Technician, and specializes in electrical repair and diagnostics. When he's not working, Manny enjoys playing tennis, camping and water skiing.
