I own a BMW 328Xi and was looking for a guy who doesn't rip me off but is knowledgeable about the European cars. Mechanic Advisor suggested Nicks which is right off the exit 32 on I93. Nick was very sensible and had given me the best estimate I could get. Even though I was keen on getting other things fixed, Nick suggested that they were in decent shape for now. My keys and phone were locked in the car so I couldn’t call AAA. I was at Star market on Mt. auburn street, walking distance from Vahe’s garage. They were very busy, but he sent his assistant to help me. After 15 minutes, we couldn’t get the door unlocked. Then Vahe came out himself and spent more time until he got the door open. He was so kind, and competent, then he wouldn’t let me pay.

Hands down i give this shop the best mechanics in Somerville/ Boston area. I take my car herre when ever there's a problem and they always quote me a fair price and do great work. Also, it's so nice to find an honest mechanic. If you need work done to your car come here. you won't be disappointed.

I can't give enough praise to Luis and Dina. I lived in MA for three years from '05-'08 and took my '99 VW Passat there for EVERYTHING it needed during that time. New brakes, regular oil changes, even a serious collision. Fast forward three years: I'm living in California and involved in a class action lawsuit against VW because they make terrible cars (Google Volkswagen water egress, you'll see what I mean. P.S. - don't ever buy a Volkswagen) and Luis and Dina help me get old invoices and documents that I've lost long ago.

Make sure to take physical pictures of everything that is broken or needs repair that you’re already aware of, prior to bringing your vehicle into this shop. They will exploit those damaged/failing parts and cause further damage to them. It seems to be part of a ploy to generate revenue for their shop because they will then try to get you to make the repairs there. Don’t expect any accountability either…. They seem to have temporary amnesia when confronted about damage that they were clearly responsible for. Alan Symmes and company - stop believing that each customer that steps foot in your shop, is as naïve as you paint them to be. These are the types of mechanics that will pull the bait and switch on you, if presented with the opportunity…. You know, replacing your new parts in working condition with used/failing parts to swindle honest customers out of their own money.

Richie is a very honest mechanic, so happy I found him. I had some major problems with my brakes and he went above and beyond to get my car back to road worthy. He explained all repairs and costs. Highly recommended
