Diamond Collision Specialist: Absolutely the worst experience ever! Consumers beware, and if you have a choice, RUN RUN RUN to any mechanic anywhere else! I wish I'd looked these guys up online before ever having the misfortune of my car being towed there. (Portside Towing, which hopefully will lose its AAA affiliation, is owned by Steve who owns Diamond Collision, and he directs your car there). It took days to do the estimate (when they'd promised me for the same day), his estimates are apparently always huge, he's hard to reach but seems very friendly until the moment you do not agree. His towing, which he'd told me was "completely free" to Diamond, was then added on as a $75.00 charge when I went to take my car elsewhere for a second opinion. He had done NOTHING with my car but sit on it for days and days, and when I told him I'd be taking it, the estimate charge in order to release the car was $245.00. Period. Oh, plus that towing charge, he said, claiming that it was only free if I got work done there. After telling him that AAA would probably like to know how he misinforms his potential customers, he took it back off "Oh! I just don't know what I was thinking! Of COURSE you don't pay for towing, silly me," he'd said. This man does not care about reputation, about the customer, about relationships--he cares 100% about the bottom line. I never pursue anything like this, but his whole demeanor was so bizarre and creepy that it's really stuck with me, PLUS when I took the car elsewhere they did the work for $1,300, after Diamond's estimate of $1,800. plus. Complaints from others in the past to BBB that I looked up had to be closed because Diamond Collision does not respond, they suggested I take it to Attorney General's office, and I have also opened a file with AAA for them to review, hoping to help others avoid this place. AAA seems to be well aware of other complaints about this business, which I found to be interesting. I contacted Steve and let him know tha

I had a horrible accident a couple weeks back and wasn't sure where to take my car.. under such anxiety I turned to the officer first on seen and asked what I should do. He told me it was probably in my best interest to take it to a qualified repair shop.. The officer highly recommended Xtreme Paint & Collision..and not sure what to do next I met with the tow truck driver and as he picked up bits and peices of my car off the ground I asked him who he recommended, and he also highly recommended Xtreme Paint.. I called Xtreme and spoke with Moses and was treated with the upmost respect and his concern for me and my car made me feel number one, Moses had me in a rental within 20 mins and had helped contact my insurance on my behalf.. My repair came out perfect and he also painted my rear bumper and detailed my car at no charge to me!! I recommend Xtreme Paint & Collision to everyone who wants a job done rite!!!

On 11/13/2012 I dropped of my 2003 Ford Escape to Cape Auto Body & Service in Plymouth, MA to diagnose two cylinders that were skipping. Although I do 99% of my own mechanical work, I have been using this company for probably close to 15 years on the rare occasion I do need an outside service company. On 11/14 Cape Auto called and told me when the job was complete. They also told me my valve cover gaskets were leaking and needed to be replaced. I got the vehicle back on the 14th and worked on it myself on the next day to replace these gaskets. In doing so, I found the threads stripped for the #4 cylinder spark plug. I called Jim, one of the service managers, and he denied that they even touched this cylinder. Now for some background. First, I am certified for numerous brands of engines ranging from air cooled small engines to diesel engines rated at excess of 1,000 horsepower. I personally changed the spark plugs in this engine on Oct. 3, 2012 and torqued them as I always do for plugs going into an aluminum head. Usually when removing plugs set in my engines, I can easily do this with a 3/8” drive ratchet. When I needed to remove the “only two plugs” Cape Auto replaced, I needed to use my 1/2” drive ratchet because they were way over torqued!!! Jim claims that he worked with the mechanic on my engine the entire time and that the mechanic never touched any other plug except the two new ones. As I previously mentioned, I have been using this company for many years and have observed Jim (and the other service managers) these times I've visited. They do NOT hover over their mechanics doing their work. As a matter of fact, the desks they work at face the opposite wall of the service garage giving them no possibility of seeing the actual work being done unless they physically stand over their mechanic's shoulders. And, if Jim had been watching his mechanic closely, how did he let him/her over torque the “only two” spark plugs they claimed to have touched??? At this

Brought my motorhome to ironhorse to fix a leak on the roof of my 2010 ford class2 motorhome. I met with the owner brian Cavanaugh and we went over the leak. He said no problem they do these all the time and that he would have it done within a week and submit the bill to my insurance company. Well 2 weeks go by... I called several times and this guy bruce who sounds drunk every time I call says the same thing, that Brian isn't available. Well I decided to drive down there to see how things were doing, and when I pulled up my motorhome was sitting outside in the pouring rain. I went and opened the side door only to see my roof tiles were soaked and falling down, the carpet was drenched and the wall was bowing from all the water....WTF. I immediately called my insurance company and told them not to send them a dime as they ruined my motorhome interior. Come to find out they sent a check to them for 4323.00 and the owner brian cashed it. I explained to my insurance co what they have done my insurance company called them while I was there looking for an explanation and of course, Brian is nowhere to be found. His sidekick bruce told them they were working on it. Long story short we are now taking them to court for the severe damage they have done and my insurance company is charging them with insurance fraud. BEWARE OF IRONHORSE COLLISION OR IRONHORSE ENT IN FREETOWN MASS AS THEY ARE A VERY SKETCHY BUISNESS.
