Welp, it seems to be that the only reviews that are posted are glorious. I did not have a good experience with foreign motors. At first I was delighted with the service and the people. 3 days later all the things that were repaired malfunctioned all over again. Asked to make an appointment however because the time wasn’t “convenient” for them I wasn’t able to get it repaired in time. Had to go elsewhere. Not very satisfactory customer service.

Since Fords are notorious for their spark plugs breaking when trying to remove them in the 4.6L and 5.4L engines, I brought my 2006 Explorer V8 over to GTA. If you want reliable and honest mechanics to make sure your car stays in good condition then this is the place to come. The owner has been servicing my car for about 15 years. Unless it was an absolute emergency and he was unavailable, I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car. He does a great and conscientious job, on time, for a reasonable price, and more than once has saved me significant money. As an example, I recently took my car to the dealer to have a malfunctioning (and wide-open) window repaired. (This is a case where it was an emergency and he wasn't available!) The repair cost hundreds of dollars. 5 weeks later the repair failed, and the dealer told me their repair didn't fail; it was actually a NEW issue that would cost me another big pile of money to fix. No thanks, I said and headed to S&W. Turns out the problem was a loose connection, an easy fix. S&W saved me $400!
