Most honest mechanic I've ever met. I was having troubles with my suspension on my Scion when I took my car to his shop to get checked out. I dropped it at noon, and he and his crew had pulled it apart and put it back together by the time I got back at the end of the work day. Stephen honestly told me that it was a problem with my strut, but it wasn't of any safety concern. He could fix it if I would like for a thousand dollars (mostly due to labor), but there was no rush since I might at least be able to get the parts cheaper myself. I wish I lived in this state - I'd come back in the future.

Fixed a couple of issues with my tranny, 2001 Pontiac Grand AM. My biggest take away was just how nice they were. I never felt like I was being taken advantage and they stayed within their quote even though labor was 5+ hours more than the estimate . If you need work done just call them!! Any work Auto repair too!

I went in for diagnostic work regarding my gas mileage, they did full diagnostic and found nothing wrong and spoke with me extensively about it. They didn't charge me for the work, they were fantastic, pleasant, knowledgeable, personable, this was a 5 star car service, I will be going back again and again.

Overland was sold back in May 2018 and the new name is Boston Rover Repair I did not know what to expect, I took the car in and Tom figure it out on the spot they really do know Rovers. I can't thank enough Arti and Tom for the fast turn around on those repairs just before a trip, the car was overheating and others couldn't find the issue since the radiator was not leaking. I was told about this place from a coworker who raved at his honesty and technical knowledge. Also our vehicle maintainece guy also said he was good. I dropped my truck off to have a boched job that another place did, he had me straightened out in short order and the bill was reasonable. Definitley use them again!

The owner has been servicing my car for about 15 years. Unless it was an absolute emergency and he was unavailable, I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car. He does a great and conscientious job, on time, for a reasonable price, and more than once has saved me significant money. As an example, I recently took my car to the dealer to have a malfunctioning (and wide-open) window repaired. (This is a case where it was an emergency and he wasn't available!) The repair cost hundreds of dollars. 5 weeks later the repair failed, and the dealer told me their repair didn't fail; it was actually a NEW issue that would cost me another big pile of money to fix. No thanks, I said and headed to S&W. Turns out the problem was a loose connection, an easy fix. S&W saved me $400! Went in to get a headlight fixed for a ticket and made an appointment for the following morning. We decided to drop the car off and uber back after dinner and while finishing up we received a call from Bill who told us he already took care of the light and we were able to drive home only an hour after dropping it off.
