Dave and Chip are wonderful professionals who really care about you and your car. They know Audi's and BMW's inside out and are committed to doing the best job possible. They also take extra time to make sure you understand what is needed and why. I recently had to have my car towed because of a check engine light and, what we thought to be a low oil pressure light. Both Dave and Chip spent hours going over the car trying to diagnose the problem and talking to my husband and myself. It turned out to be nothing serious and I was charged the Diagnostic fee only. I have since taken it back for service and couldn't be happier. They charge a fair price for great work. As an Audi owner for many years I have found that many mechanics really don't know how to work on my car or misdiagnose issues. This will not happen with Village European. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

A+ service, and i'll be staying her for all my wheel/suspension work. I ordered a set of winter tires from Tire Rack and Fahey came highly recommended on their site as well as here. I hit the shop with my winter rims to get them installed today and they found two cracks in two rims. I had been having trouble with one last year but thought it was the old tire. Fahey is sending the rims out and expects to get me back in next week. No charge for the hour of their time it took to help me out.

Make sure to take physical pictures of everything that is broken or needs repair that you’re already aware of, prior to bringing your vehicle into this shop. They will exploit those damaged/failing parts and cause further damage to them. It seems to be part of a ploy to generate revenue for their shop because they will then try to get you to make the repairs there. Don’t expect any accountability either…. They seem to have temporary amnesia when confronted about damage that they were clearly responsible for. Alan Symmes and company - stop believing that each customer that steps foot in your shop, is as naïve as you paint them to be. These are the types of mechanics that will pull the bait and switch on you, if presented with the opportunity…. You know, replacing your new parts in working condition with used/failing parts to swindle honest customers out of their own money.

The owner has been servicing my car for about 15 years. Unless it was an absolute emergency and he was unavailable, I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car. He does a great and conscientious job, on time, for a reasonable price, and more than once has saved me significant money. As an example, I recently took my car to the dealer to have a malfunctioning (and wide-open) window repaired. (This is a case where it was an emergency and he wasn't available!) The repair cost hundreds of dollars. 5 weeks later the repair failed, and the dealer told me their repair didn't fail; it was actually a NEW issue that would cost me another big pile of money to fix. No thanks, I said and headed to S&W. Turns out the problem was a loose connection, an easy fix. S&W saved me $400! Great communication from these guys, got a call detailing what the car needed and a quote, then followed up with a call to let me know it was ready. I have a 1967 NADA 109 Land Rover. I brought it into J. Whites Automotive to have general service done along with a brake job. They did an outstanding job on my Land Rover,. The service was so top notch that I got to tell you about it. In the past few years she has been showing her age in the way she been running. I use to have her picked up once a year on a flat bed and she was trucked up to VT for maintenance. I was going to put her up for sale after 20 plus years. Here is what happened: J Whites went through entire vehicle. The 109 now runs like it did in 1967! It never skips a beat; the steering is awesome with no play in the wheel. You can take your hand off the wheel and it now stops on a dime straight even time. J. White has got this rover running so good that I am keeping it and when I take it out I leave my AAA card at home. I highly recommend J Whites Automotive.

My MB needed a tuning belt replacement and I emailed Dave and setup an appointment. Upon arrival I was given an estimate of the time.
