Im honestly surprised that there arent more reviews for this gem! Rodney (the owner) was so kind, professional and helpful. I had gone to Pep Boys who told me I needed $600 dollars in work...after leaving International Auto I only paid $126 (including an oil change!!) YOU JUDGE: I bring car in for MD inspection to register it. While up on the lift then discover the rear drums and brake cylinders need to be replaced on both sides and they recommend a brake fluid flush. All total they quote me $950.00. I took the vehicle home and did the entire job in 45 mins with $165.00 in parts, WHILE teaching my 14yo how to do it. (He did the second side with my oversight and helped pump the brakes for me.) I return for re-inspection and ask the basis for their estimate. The Owner's reasoning: "We buy better parts than local stores so it costs more." Yeah. Right. My opinion... they tried to rip me off. I've been in the business and their excuse is the standard BS line given by those that lack integrity. Realistically. Say the parts cost TWICE as much... does that mean labor was $253??? for less than an hour's work? Remember, they already had it on the lift, disassembled. So labor would be in changing out the cylinders (15mins each) and grabbing the new drums for reassembly, then bleed the brake line (which is the same as replacing the brake fluid they 'recommended' for $99.00) Again. You be the judge.

I have had Prestige Auto fix several things on my 2007 VW Rabbit. It has been a great experience. I was having trouble with my brakes which were suddenly not working or not braking all of the time. During the winter and ice, it was difficult to know at first if I hit ice or it was the brakes. Hasi did a test drive with me, and he could sense the problem. The brakes were fixed. Then,after an oil change, he noticed the fan on my car was running really loudly. (Yes, I had heard it, but didn't realize it was a problem.) I brought the car back and he put in a new fan. I feel like this is the first time I have had a mechanic I can trust -- and who also knows cars and really wants to make sure everything is working well. I am very happy with the service and also to keep my car up to par. I know I'm driving a safe car and that makes me happy! TAllen

Bethesda Sunoco and the whole team, Ian, Don, Mike, Dominic are terrific. My friend had a car that did not pass emissions inspection. She took her car there and Dominic looked at the car and told her exactly what was wrong and what it would cost. She offered to pay him and he declined. I can see why they have such a high Washington Checkbook rating! Hard to find honest mechanics!

The guys at Automotive Service Garage are the best! The service is excellent and they are absolutely trustworthy. We don't take our cars to anyone else!
