Went there on Oct 16, 2015 for a simple oil change, have already filed with the BBB, car was running fine, told me I needed a qt of transmission fluid, I said fine, the minute I left the car began bucking, that was a Friday, please also note I am a female, on Saturday really didn't drive much as my son took me to PA in his car but when I did in the early am still the same problem, bucking and not shifting appropriately. On Sunday took the car to Walmart, much worse, it actually shut off, check engine light came on, cruise control light came on, had to turn off car, wait, gingerly start back up and ease my way back home. I called my mechanic. He came over. Let's start with the fact that I was 1 1/2 quarts low on oil (2 days after an oil change) and my transmission fluid was bone dry), he put 2 1/2 quarts of transmission fluid in, told me to go to work the next day have the guys pull it in the shop and hook it up to see if it throws any codes and then go over it with a fine tooth comb. See what Charm City didn't know is that I really hate to bother my mechanics for an oil change so I go there, but I've been working with mechanics for 16 years, so they pulled my car in the shop went over it and still had to add another quart of transmission fluid. My certified mechanics have told me that either charm city pulled the transmission plug and drained the tranny fluid or they used a fluid evacuator, when I confronted the owner who took offense to my language and really who wouldn't be pissed, he could have blown up my transmission..he lied, he said a fluid evacuator takes an hours...sorry bud....5 to 8 minutes....his mechanic lied and said he put 6 quarts of oil in my car...first off...why would you put 6 quarts when you only need to put 5 and you didn't put 5...liar...I don't care that you've been in business for 26 years, you saw a female coming in who never uses you for service and you thought you could get some service work from me, so you drained my tranny fluid and then had the gall to ask why I didn't come back, because you are untrustworthy, BEWARE ONE AND ALL. I have 2 certified mechanics that will testify to my story. This place needs to be investigated!!!!

I was driving from Washington DC to Long Island NY on 10/20/2012 when I had a tire problem (slow deflation) on I-95. I made it to the Joppa exit ramp and put air in the tire at a quick mart/gas station. Not wanting to press on to a travel plaza for a tire repair I went to the nearby Day’s Joppa Auto Repair. They were able to help me immediately. When they pulled the bad front tire we found an unusual wear pattern that had worn one side down to the inner cord. Continued driving could have caused the tire to go flat again and possibly come apart. The other front tire was in a similar but less severe condition. I purchased a new set of front tires and an alignment to help with the wear pattern. They were able to get me back on the road in about an hour. As it was more than a simple flat tire, stopping there allowed me to get the problem fixed and continue my road trip. I found that Lissa, the general manager, and mechanics to be courteous, helpful and businesslike. The pricing and the services provided were right on the mark. I was pleased with the outcome and would use them again if I lived in the area.

On Oct 30, 2013 I bought a 2010 Honda Insight from your company Car Finders of MD, for $10,747.00. Owner Mr. Corbitt told me that the car was in good shape and didn’t get into any major accident except a couple scratches on the rear end bumper. He insured me that the bumper will only cost around $600-$700 to fix the minor problem with me agreeing to pay $400. From outside, the problem was fixed along with the car passing the Maryland inspection from BP station located at 5612 Balt. National Pike. After I brought it to my trusted auto shop making sure everything working properly. According to Chao’s auto he told me that the muffler was touching the bumper and it was not safe to drive around in winter time. He suggested me to take the car into an auto body shop to inspect everything. After detail inspection, Han’s auto body shop stated that the car had been in a big impact from the rear end. The rear body panel needed to be replaced while the rear body needed to be fixed as well as the muffler that needed to be out so it wouldn’t touch the bumper to cause fire. In addition, the rear right wheel is now bended and needed to be replaced. The total cost of repair is $1800-$2000, and will need at least one week to be fixed. On Nov 14, 2013, I took the car back to BP Station where the car got inspection with MD state police automotive safety enforcement officers. They both agreed that the Honda insight should have not been passed the inspection. BP station is at fault due to they're negligence and very careless with inspection. Not only did Car Finder LLC fail to disclose the truth regarding the rear floor. BP station should do a better job to protect consumer right. To resolve the problem, I would appreciate Car Finder of MD, LLC and BP station share the responsibility and reimburse me the repair cost, with a total is $1800. I sent both company the certified letter on Nov 18 but both have no response. This is second approach before I go to small claim suit.
