You sent an email for repairs on a Jeep 4x4, we have never have or had a Jeep vehicle You better check you records We have have had our vehicles repaired at your garage for YEARS and you send us repair notice for a vehicle we have never had owned EVER. No wonder we have not had any repair work done at your business recently. You will probably just brush this off but we are greatly disappointed. The Staffords

I have been going to guys for all kinds auto repairs for at least six years, I have also referred so many of my friends and family to them. To my greatest surprise and shock, I just found out that they are frauds, cheats and liars and have deceived my family and friends that I have over the years sent to them. I sent a vehicle to them for repair this month, Sam, one of the owners called me back and said it was going to cost $2200.00 parts and labor. I was taken aback at that quote. I would have agreed, but something in me this time said NO!. I went back the next day and picked up my car from them and gave it to another mechanic that I hardly knew. They charged me $900.00 with the same parts and labor including two brand new tires. Please be careful with these guys, they fooled me for years. Always seek for a second opinion. Worst experience ever. Got me in the door by saying "free diagnosis" then after the fact informed me that it would be $450.00. Found out later that the repairs had already been done to my car prior to my approval. The place is a TOTAL scam. When I finally got my car back (a week after they promised) it was in worse condition than when I took it in. I had to take it to a second place to have them fix the mistakes American Transmission made. Absolute biggest rip off ever. DO NOT GO THERE.

Best place ever to get car repairs done! Paul is an absolute gem! My car needed plenty of work but not once did I feel pressured to have any of it done. Paul was honest about what was most important (not the most expensive) and ultimately did 90% of the work in 1 day for a very reasonable price. In December I a bad accident that destroyed the front end of my van and had it towed to Chuck's Transmission. Everyone at Chuck's were extremely friendly, caring and helpful from the time I called to have my vehicle towed to their location until the work was completed and beyond. I had left information in the vehicle from the accident in the vehicle and they even went out of their way to retrieve it for me so I did not have to make a special trip to their location to get it. Not only did they repair my vehicle in less than 4 day, but they found an exact match of parts - color and all. When I came in to get my vehicle, they showed me everything that was repaired and answered every question I had in terms I could understand the first time. And the amount I was quoted for the repairs was excellent. I had spoke with others in the business and they said the prices were at or below what other shops would charge for all that they did. They also have contacted me after having my vehicle back for a while to make sure that everything was running perfectly. I would highly recommend Chuck's Transmission for any repairs and all regular maintenance you may need.

15 day Poor follow up, car remained outside in the Michigan cold weather without ever bringing it in on a hoist. Called multiple times only to be told by Jeff they could not get to it. Was advised after the second day there I was next. After 15 days of back and forth we rented a car to see if possibly a Tech had been ill or something. But what we did know the shop could not service us to our expectations. After showing up Jeff the head mechanic finally agreed to give us an estimate that only repeated what we had said when we brought the car in i.e. the engine light and VSC light was on and there was dragging in 1 and 2nd gear. Cost $6500. Thank Goodness the car was still pretty drive able. It is not a hooptie. Got a 2nd opinion they researched it in 2 hours. repaired it, $402.
