I have been an auto mechanic for the past 40 years. My recent surgery prevented me from replacing a much needed CV joint axle, they quoted me the labor costs up front and accommodated me even on a busy Saturday.The CV axle I needed was impossible to find yet they took time off their busy schedule to check availability. They worked with me till the part was finally located. They may not be the largest newest repair shop in town but the personalized service and experience makes the difference. They are the most honest and approachable auto repair shop I have dealt with, their prices are very competitive and they won't try and sell you on unnecessary repairs. They are the only shop I trust when I am unable to complete the repairs myself. I recommend they highly.

This review is for Auto Center of Canton which I presume is the new name for this shop. I drove my 2000 Volvo S80 to get it diagnosed because the engine kept missing even after new parts were replaced. This took place on October 16th of 2019 and all I've been getting about this problem is the runaround from a mechanic named Rich. Initially I was told that the engine may need to be replaced with a price tag of $2700.00. I went out to the shop to put half of the deposit for the engine and then was told that the engine was fine, but it was the engine control module that was in need of repairs. Instead of Rich contacting me of the status of the module, I've had to keep calling and then Rich never calls back when he says. It's been over a month of waiting and this is unacceptable as my wife needs to be cared for and taken to her oncologist for cancer treatments at U of M hospital. At this point and right now, I want my car back with the original module and my $500.00 since nothing but waste time has been done. I caution anyone considering this place for repairs as they are just monkeying around and wasting people's time and money.

We have been using King's for 10 years now and have always felt like family. My car broke down on my lunch hour, I was towed to Kings and Brenda drove me home to drop off lunch and then back to work. One time my car wouldn't start in the driveway, I had it towed to Kings and nothing was wrong with it so they didn't charge me. They always give an estimate and call before starting any service. They have never added on extra services or used a high pressure sales to get more money out of you. They treat you like one of their own family and fix your car to get you safely back on the road.
