I had Schiele replace a motor in my 65 F100. I provided the used motor to replace the existing one. I was very happy with the result. The mechanic's name was Aaron. As an example of how conscientious he was, he put a little oil in the cylinders and cranked it before actually trying to start it. This was probably a very good idea since the motor hadn't been run in a while. Aaron was willing to explain anything he was doing and didn't seem to mind that I came around often during the work. The project was completed in a timely manner and from my memory, slightly below what the initial estimate was. Keith Morehead

cleaned the throttle body on my 08 silverado but didnt know about the calibration being thrown off after someone manually pushes the flap by hand instead off using gas pedal so after truck ran like crap at 2000+ rpm called about 15 differant shops around town all pointed me to dealer so dealer said they would do the idle relearn for $165 USD??? ok last resot spartan autoworx said sure bring it in they would do it for free so came in no wait hooks up his scan tool within 3 mins the relearn was done truck runs fine so all u chevy truck owners dont push that flap in by hand or shops will tell you that u need $100's of dollars of usless parts and are gonna send u to the dealer in the end but just call up spartan first they are the #1 auto computer guys i love this place

Worst customer service ever. They charged me $70 for a Diagnostic test that had the same information on it as the emissions test that they had just run on my car. They did add an additional part as a necessary replacement although the part wasn't bad. After a friend pointed out that this part wasn't bad, they stated that it was simply a 'suggestion'. I think they should have been more specific although there was no paperwork to be specific on. I got a receipt for my $70. Autozone's free diagnostic tests at least give you some paperwork. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was told that I knew nothing about car repair and I was probably lying about how useful the test was. Riiiiiight. The owner really argued vehemently with me about returning my money so I guess he needs it more than I do. By the fact that he works another job and the run-down appearance of this location, I finally stopped trying to get a refund on the most useless and outrageously stupid diagnostic test I've ever had. If you want to be treated with respect and common courtesy, go somewhere else. If you want a company that believes that the customer is always right, don't go here.

I agree with Gene. In my case I drive a diesel Sprinter, very hard to get good service on to begin with because it is all German. I live in Montana too. I was referred to Westport Autohouse by a friend whose personal experience was very similar to the other review. So I called and made an appointment. The owner - Mike- insisted that because he had to order parts I should plan on leaving it overnight. I told him - Ok but- I had to be finished by 4 PM on Thursday since i had to be in another part of the state for business on Friday. The initial estimate was fine and was accurate to what needed to be done according to my research on the problems and the symptoms. The final bill came in a bit higher but they had completed all the repairs, the van drove smoothly and perfectly for the first time in months !! I am elated. I had been in a Mercedes Benz dealership earlier to get the same things done and they wanted over $2,000 more and most of that was for the wrong stuff anyway. I highly recommend Westport Autohouse and plan to use them every time I need a repair in the future. Tim B.

Amazing customer service! I was given a breakdown of services I would need ..they even offered discounts. They were really honest and answered all of my questions. Also given their opinion on which services I should prioritize since I wasn't able to pay for all of the services that day. 100000% would recommend to everyone. These guys advertised a front bumper on their website for a Mercedes which they didn't have. They took the payment of $887.86 and have not supplied the part or returned the money. I would advise not to deal with them and find another supplier.

I took my car in to have work done on the motor they kept the car for over 2 weeks did not fix the problem and messed up the transmission when they pulled the motor .I would never give this place a thought.

Took my car for inspection,the inspector made up new rules to fail my car. And they wanted to charge 235$ for unneeded repairs took d car for a different inspector d car passed no problem. DO GO THERE, Worse place
