RUN...DONT WALK! Dont stop at this place!! Here is my story: $3500 for a Expedition with no front stabilizers and over $7000 worth of pre existing engine/tran. damage wont refund/exchange. I purchased 98 ford expedition on 3/14/14 for $3500. On 7/7/14 spent $402.88 repairing alternator and serpentine belt. Also on that date the repair discovered the vehicle was sold to me with no front stabilizers and the water jacket plugs corroded. On 7/31/14 car was blowing coolant. Discovered the pre-existing water jacket plugs corroded and then blew out the cylinder head and gasket. Cost to fix that $6,446.55. Was told cheaper to invest in new engine but to take dealer to court. The car is undrivabable and parked.Was told the entire thing could blow out anytime and freeze up transmission. I also had encounter with a Winston Salem Police Officer who stated it was illegal for them to sell the car with no front stabilizers and the inspector who authorized and passed the inspection/dealer needs to be reported. I have tried to reason with Sardo, the man who sold me the car. He wants to see that there are no front stabilizers. I consulted with an attorney who advised me to hold off on him having any access to the car since a local officer noted and car repair noted the stabilizer issues. I spent my 10 year old daughters SSI disability back pay for this car to be able to transport her around for her medical appts. I advised this to Sardo upon the sale and he still sold me this broken headache. Will not refund or take car back. Even with my $400+ new alternator!

I received a quote from a young man who was working there but when I picked the car up the price given was much higher than the quote I received. In addition, some of the work had not been done as asked- so not only was I asked to pay more, all of the work was not completed. I explained that I would not pay more than the quote and they would not hand over my car key. I called the police who came for assistance. Another thing, I received a voicemail from them at 3:45 saying that they were getting ready to close early and if I did not come they would charge an extra fee for storage! The hours posted on the door was from 9 to 6! This place is dishonest, they do not communicate, and extremely unreliable. "Shady" is the word.

I've taken my cars to Websters for more years than I care to remember, and they are probably the top shop I've ever dealt with: extremely competent, efficient, very skilled at evaluating problems and very trustworthy. They are also not cheap, but you will get what you pay for. I wish it weren't such a long trek out to their shop by the airport but they do provide shuttle service. But for large or small repairs I recommend Websters very highly.

recently moved to Greensboro from up north and was in for routine maintenance oil and tire rotation, had been referred to Beamer from a coworker. the staff at Beamer was very friendly both on the phone and in person at the Wendover location. they take pictures of anything needing immediate or likely future attention and they show you the parts before replacing in person so you can really see what is being done and approve work and charges in advance. I believe them to be honest professionals as I knew what was going on with my car before getting there, and some things that other shops in another state told me I needed to replace Beamer said was fine. very reasonable prices from what I saw. will definitely be back to Beamer for my auto needs. highly recommend!

I TOOK MY CAR TO A SHOP TO HAVE MY BRAKES CHECKED FOR A GRINDING NOISE AND MY STEERING WHEEL PULLING. THE SHOP QUOTED ME OVER $700 FOR THE REPAIR. I FOUND MOBILE LUBE DOCTORS ON HERE SO I GAVE THEM A CALL. WITHIN 3 HOURS THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT TO ME AND HAD MY CAR REPAIRED. CHRIS FOUND THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY AND SHOWED ME EXACTLY WHAT WAS GOING ON SO THAT I UNDERSTOOD. HE WAS ALSO ABLE TO GET ME REPAIRED AND BACK ON THE ROAD FOR $250 LESS THAN WHAT THE SHOP QUOTED ME. I LOVE THIS SERVICE.

I just had my rear bumper cover replaced and painted by Aycock Frame and body. I am pleased to announce that they did a great job. But it doesn't end there. I had shops give me estimates of as much as $2200 for the same job. Aycock charged me about 20% of that. They do a great job and charge an even greater price. If you want a good job for a good price, go see the people at Aycock Frame and Body. They will treat you right!

in regards to Mr. Bosworth's complaint, he had a new muffler and tailpipe installed on his S-10 pickup, he did fail for a serpentine belt having excessive cracks, which is part of the NC State Inspection, if the belt breaks, you will lose your power steering, which is a safety issue. Mr. Bosworth has returned to this facility for NC Inspection, which he passed with no issues. Sorry for his misunderstanding of what was done and needed done to his vehicle. Management is no longer the same people that was here at that time, do believe this was a case of not wanting to hear what was needed and why. We are here to serve you and your vehicle.
