Over filled my car with oil. Wont be going back

I spent the money to take my car to get it diagnosed by this group of guys. It just happens to be close to where I live and easily accessible from Monticello. I thoroughly explained symptoms of my car to the gentlemen, and they came back and said that my water pump must not be working and that they had 2 of their techs both arrive at the same idea. What kind of techs cant trace a coolant leak to a HOLE in a hose. They tried to quote me almost 700 dollars to fix the timing and water pump because it needed it. Had another company look at it..they immidiately told me I had a hose leak, and that my thermostat was stuck shut. Cost to fix around $85, and What do you know..it was fixed. I HATE scam artist, and I HATE mechanics shops that try to get over on PEOPLE. I will make sure my friends and the rest of NSU and ODU student know to NEVER trust this shop. I just hope I saved one person from spending WAY more then needed from a dishonest Mechanic. I'm Beyond angry that they blatantly tried to scam me. Typical worthless , unreliable, dishonest Car Mechanics Shop. The PLUS is for plus we'll try to catch gullible people who believe us and take your whole paycheck

While my car was in his shop he drove it thru the Portsmouth tunnel, he said to match the headlight. I got the bills because it is my car, he admitted it was him that made the charge. I sent him every bill I got, now its been sent to a collection agency. I cannot renew my license plates that expire the end of this month until its paid. For awhile he gave me excuses, then it was flat out lies. Now he is ghosting me. He owns his shop, I live on social security month to month. He was my trusted mechanic for 16 years. He used to say I wasn't just a customer I was a friend, with friends like that I don't need enemies. I would have given him 0 stars but not an option.

Horrible experience at this shop!!! ASE technician did NOT even know how to mount the tire, he had to ask!!! Motor-hood was badly scratched afterwards and they had a very bad attitude and were NOT willing to help!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!! BE BEWARE!!!

This shop was awsome. Very fairly priced staff was awsome. My brakes became super soft and going to the floor and I called they were quick to get me in showed me what was wrong gave me a fair price and then took me home so I could get my kid off the school bus. The owner was super helpful and I was amazed at how professional and courteous everyone in the shop was. This is now my shop for all my repairs in the future I will never go anywhere else. Even offer a military discount for active and retired. Super job guys customer for life

Once your BMW is out of warranty, DP Motorwerks is the best place to go for any and all repair and/or service work. I have used Dave’s shop for my BMW 2010 128i since 2016. If you are taking the time to research BMW repair shops in the VB area, then I know you are probably looking for the same things that matter to me. I recommend this shop with absolutely no hesitation. You will appreciate Dave’s approachability, honesty, depth of knowledge, and integrity with respect to servicing and repairs. Above all you will value his fair pricing and quality of work.

I just wanted to say thanks to Tune Up Plus. They worked on our 1998 Lincoln Navigator and they were EXCELLENT!! The manager was truthful and explained to us about our heat not working. It feels so great to have a technician be honest since we have been lied to several times before. I thank them all and wish more shops were just like you all.

I want to rave about such a wonderful business! I stopped on my way to work this AM for gasoline for my car. I dread pumping gas before work because I have spilled it on my pant leg in the past. Anyhow when I pulled into the station an attendant quickly rushed out and asked to pump my gas. While the gas pumped he cleaned my windows and even asked if I needed additional services. When I offered to tip the man he said no, all women deserve this kind of service! I will always get gas from them! I recommend everyone do the same!

I've been a regular customer for fuel purchases for many years. For State vehicle inspections I've used someone else for over twenty years, but the owner retired so I decided to try Skymart (formerly known as Raceco). First I checked to see If I could find reviews and this site is one of a few I found. The BBB site gives it and F, they did not return a call to the BBB whenit inquired about a complaint. Several, actually the majority of the reviews/ratings were very poor/low, however there are also some very positive reviews and ratings. I and noticed that many of the poor reviews seemed to involve the service manager and communication. Feeling kind of lazy and not wanting to search to hard for an Inspection Station I decided to use Skymart with caution. First I called and spoke to a the service manager, I confirmed that they were doing inspections and that I would arrive well before their 4pm cut off. I also checked to see how busy and was told they should be able to get me done pretty quickly. When I arrived I parked first and went inside to meet the manager. I asked if she was the person i had spoken with about inspections and she said she was. She told me there was one car ahead of me. She had me fill out a form and in about 20 minutes or so the mechanic came into the waiting room to collect my form. We spoke briefly about my vehicle. He told me the inspection would take about 30 minutes and then he went out and pulled my truck in. About 30 minutes later I was leaving. The service was very good. I did observe that the manager has a very abrupt way of answering questions and responding to customers. I would say that in my case establishing good communication with her and the mechanic was key to a happy conclusion. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars because there was no warm and fussy from the manager, more of a take it or leave it attitude. I can see why there are so many low ratings.

I arrived at Today at 9:30am and was told my inspection would be done by late afternoon. My car was Has been in the shop for 8 HOURS and NOTHING WAS DONE. I asked what was the reason my car had not been serviced, "it was busy" and "they couldn't get to it". So for 8 hours straight my car sat there because "it was busy" yet i see people left and right going in and coming out. Being as i have a few friends who work at tread quarters and jiffy lube, I am aware they do not get paid for a state inspection and that is another reason why i feel i was completely pushed aside and taken advantage of. I came to this shop for the convenience of it being across the street of my place of work yet it has done the complete opposite to my day. 8 HOURS IN THEIR SHOP AND THEY DID NOT HAVE 30 min for the quick inspection process yet they had time for other services from people who clearly arrived after me. When i arrived at 5:30pm to pick up my car i was told the guy checking out in front of me was the last guy to get a state inspection for the day, what a huge coincidence. Not to mention, two people were in the waiting area... Low and behold they were not waiting on their car from a state inspection but a "WALK IN SERVICE". This place is NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Instead of servicing the people in order, you take advantage of whomever you'd like and pick and choose who gets done because MONEY IS YOUR ONLY CARE. I understand the technicians want to make as much money as they can but completely disregarding a service and stating it wasn't done because "it was busy" and "they couldn't get to it" is complete non-sense. I will NEVER give this Location another chance.
