Engine repair service near Avenel, NJ

What can I say other than Hendersons has the best customer service I have ever experienced in the automotive repair industry. We have been going there for approximately 10 years now, multiple cars under Ed's care (having 3 children of driving age) and do not have one complaint. Twin Towers has been my service station/repair shop and especially my fill-up station for more years than I can remember ... I moved here in 1992. From my 1st visit I knew I was in competent hands. By age 67, I’ve had quite a large experience with mechanics, etc. By far Twin Towers is the best. Prompt scheduling for car emergencies, frequent calls with any sub-optimal or abnormal findings, options, estimates, updates, road test results, etc. There are never any surprises. It’s a family-owned business for generations. Twin Towers is the only service station I’ll ever use. “5 stars” doesn’t adequately describe the experience you will have at Twin Towers.

Do Not buy any spare parts from him. He charges you more than double the cost if cheap spare parts. A $90 battery costs you $189 to get replaced!! Unprofessional response when I showed that they have overcharged me . Econolast battery was charged $189 to me. And then I was told as argument that it was upfront. He then argued that i can take out the battery but it will be costing your service charge!! They are literally ripping customers. $30 synthetic oil charged $68 $30 drive belt charged $150+ $90 battery charged $189 $12 wipers charged $26 Are you serious! That is is the cost of running business? This is ripping off your customers.

I usually wouldnt even take the time to write a review but the audacity of this moron manager got me inspired. Basically, my power steering pump had a slow leak and was almost empty when my truck started making a horrific squeel coming down route 1 when i saw this sears car center. I stopped in distressed about my situation and asked the manager if they sold power steering fluid and told him about my predicament. He replied by telling me they did not and he couldnt help me. All he could do was take advantage of my problem and offer a song and a dance for a $55 service to get some power steering fluid. So I went to Pepboys and bought my own for $7. Its a shame to have to experience how someone will take advantage of you when your down. Needless to say, Ill never go there again or recommend anyone else do.

Great customer service... Broke down on the Turnpike, limped off exit 12. As soon as I got off i saw an AAMCO sign across the street. I stopped in at 4:30 in a panic. They checked the car and told me I needed a water pump. They ordered the parts and stayed 90 minutes past closing to wait for the parts and get me on the road. I really appreciate the staff at AAMCO staying to help me out. Car ran great the whole way home. Adam Treiber

Stay away. Horrible service. Tried to charge me $90.00 for an oil change using my oil and filter that I already purchased, while every other STS in the area only charged me $20.00. Also tried to overcharge me for labor on a previous occasion. A few months ago I had gotten a flat tire and I drove into this shop at about 5 minutes before they were closing, and they refused to help me just said I was out of luck because they were about to close. Worst STS I have ever been to and will never go back.
