I go to Ed for anything automotive. He's always taken care of my family and I. Great guy. Great work ethic. Great businessman. He will ensure you have a positive experience and are taken care of. He does the right thing every time and keeps to his word. It's a rare experience nowadays. I recommend him to anyone and everyone. I fully trust him which is an uncommon feeling in the automotive repair industry but he's earned it.

L & J Motors is the only auto repair shop in Jersey that has worked on my Bimmer since bringing it over from California. I'm very picky in regards to who works on my cars, but I find this place--like another reviewer--to be reliable and honest in their services. After my experience here, I would certainly recommend this auto repair shop to other European vehicle owners.

They are amazing mechanics. I don't think anyone can ever match their experience. They hear one awkward sound from my car and they automatically know what is wrong with it without even opening it yet. And it's all done at reasonable price as well. Ask for Albert. He's the best.

I've been to many shops over the years and these guys are knowledgeable, experts , fair, patient, trustworthy and best of all treat you with the utmost respect and tell you exactly what's going on with your car in a way that you understand fully. Just pulled in to ask about a service for my vehicle. Great news, the staff is all well fed. They were all sitting around in the break room just behind the front counter. I walked in, said hi and waited for a reply. The men - about 5 - just kept shoveling food into their mouths and stared at me. Odd, so I waited a moment. Then asked if there is anyone who can help me. They all - and I mean ALL - averted their eyes and went for another forkful. "Soooooo, should I just wait guys?" Another forkful. "Should I just go then," I asked. Finally got an answer. One guy took the time between stuffing his face to shrug at me. I laughed and left. Great place. Can't wait for the failures who run it like this to sell it to someone who might care. I certainly wouldn't want people with that level of pride or care working on my car. So many options with people who don't suck. Go elsewhere. Life its too short to wait for lunch break to end for basic human respect.

Brought my car in for service, it was in the shop for two days to replace front struts and some other work. When I drove the car home, I noticed the wheel alignment was off. The alignment wasn't included in the final estimate. I called the shop and they said I could come back in first thing in the morning. Went back the next day and they put the car right up on the lift, did the wheel alignment, and didn't charge me! I was ok with paying for it, and was just happy they took me right in with no wait. A year ago, I was in an accident and called Livingston Collision to tow it for me. They not only assisted with the tow, but they also helped me through the entire insurance negotiation. They were able to negotiate with my insurance adjuster and ultimately helped in proving the car was totaled and making sure I got back the fair market value for the car. This is not the shop to take your car if you are looking for it to be DETAILED. I was recommended by a family member that said she did a phenominal job, reviews said it, she said (better than the car wash). Well that was not the case. my car was taken a full day, I trusted she did a good job, I paid her and didn't think much off it. The next morning when I drove my car I was beyond disapoointed. My tinted windows had been ruined, there was ink on my driver seat, car door cubbies were full of dirt, back seats were full of dirt, back was not vacummed there was still dog hair, the trunk was never vacuumed, the exteriror had scuff marks on it that could have been removed. My car was taken again the whole day. Tint wasn't fixed, had to go out on my own to fix it. She wanted me to go through the car with her so she could clean what I found dirty, by the second day that car should have been immaculate. Well to my surprise I found myself cleaning my own car on Friday, I sent her pictures of the visible things that were still dirty (still have the pictures with the date to prove it). I was ignored on the pictures. I text her and said I should receive a refund of some sort because I was detailing my car hours before it was loaded on the container. Bottom line look else were to get your car detailed. I got a car wash instead.
